How many sleeping sharks are there in Greenland?

There are still about four sleeping sharks in Greenland.

Greenland sleeping shark, also known as small-headed sleeping shark, is widely distributed in the North Atlantic waters around Greenland and Iceland. Their adult body length reaches 4 to 5 meters, but their growth rate is extremely slow, sometimes about 1 year 1 cm.

This shark is close to the Pacific Sleeping Shark, and generally lives in the North Pacific Ocean. Greenland Sleeping Shark has also been found in Argentina and Antarctica.
