Dujuan valley
Zhushan Mountain is high, with complex terrain and unique climate, which is an ideal place for rhododendron breeding. Cuckoo Valley is named after many cuckoos, and the three characters "Cuckoo Valley" are written on the cliff at the mouth of the valley. In spring, rhododendrons are in full bloom, turning the Rhododendron Valley into a sea of flowers, attracting countless tourists to enjoy the flowers.
Goddess of Mercy Pavilion
On the top of the mountain opposite the cuckoo valley, there is a huge bare stone shaped like a lotus flower, in which Guanyin Bodhisattva is enshrined. People can climb here to pray for relatives and friends to eliminate disasters and keep safe, and enjoy the beautiful scenery around Zhushan.
There is a legend about the origin of Guanyin Pavilion. Because there are many wild animals in Zhuxiaoshan, they often haunt nearby villages, which makes people's lives restless. Guanyin is kind-hearted and can't bear the people to be infringed by this, so she came here to teach the method of preventing and rejecting animals. It is precisely because of this that every household has returned to a happy life. In order to appreciate the virtue of Guanyin, the villagers collectively donated money to build Guanyin Pavilion on the lotus boulder to scare the wild animals and worship Guanyin.
