Pilot recruitment is carried out under the unified deployment and leadership of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Finance and the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army of China. The air force and the air forces of various military regions have centers for recruiting flight students.
At present, the Air Force only recruits (selects) flight students from high school graduates of local ordinary middle schools and undergraduate graduates of science, engineering and command in military academies. Among them, there are six basic conditions for recruiting high school graduates from local ordinary middle schools:
First, natural conditions. Candidates are from 16 to 19 years old, and the date of birth is calculated according to the Gregorian calendar. Candidates must have the official student status of their school, recruit new high school graduates, and also have the official account of the city where the recruitment task is located.
Second, physical conditions. Male, the height is between 1.65- 1.80m, the weight is above 52kg, and the resting blood pressure does not exceed 138/88mm Hg. According to the air force circular visual acuity chart, the naked eye vision of both eyes is above 1.0, and there is no color blindness, weak color, tattoo or tattoo.
