In Treatise on Febrile Diseases (1 13), there are 4 1 prescriptions for Guizhi and no fewer than 29 prescriptions for Guizhi Decoction. Therefore, in clinic, Guizhi decoction has more application opportunities. Therefore, we should not only discuss it in theory, but also prove it in practice. We would like to attach the clinical records below for your reference.
Clinical application of Guizhi decoction
First, the treatment of urticaria: 60-year-old male patient, suffering from urticaria, itching, months without healing. Feel the pulse floating slowly, you can see that sweating is not good, and the tongue coating is thin and white. This syndrome belongs to common cold's muscular abscess, and Wei Rong is not harmonious, because it is rubella. The original prescription of Guigui Decoction is used to dispel wind and Wei Rong, and it cannot be added blindly. After taking the medicine, take a sip of hot porridge, warm clothes and sweat, and the rash will stop.
Second, treat fever and sweating: Li, female, 53 years old. I have a fever and sweat two or three times a day. I have been ill for a year. Just smell my diet. I have been treated for fever due to yin deficiency, but taking more than 20 doses is ineffective. Thready pulse, pale tongue with white fur. It was identified as disharmony in Wei Rong, and it was the original prescription of Shuguizhi Decoction. I feel a little sweaty after eating, but I don't sweat when the fruit is hot.
Third, cure sweat: Sun, male, 39 years old. This disease is that the left side of the body often sweats, while the right side of the body is anti-sweating. The left side sweats and the right side does not sweat, and the boundaries are clear. The pulse is slow and slightly floating, and the tongue coating is thin and white. "Su Wen Yin Angelababy Xiang Da Lun" said: "The way of Yin and Yang is also around people." This syndrome is due to the disharmony between yin and yang and qi and blood, so sweating is easy to cause depression, while the disharmony between left and right yin and yang leads to qi and blood obstruction. Treatment should adjust yin and yang to harmonize qi and blood. I used the original prescription of Guizhi decoction. After eating it, I sweated a little after drinking porridge, and I got better from then on.
2. Application of Guizhi Decoction
1. Jiawei Guizhi Decoction:
1. Guizhi Jia Gui Decoction: This recipe treats night sweats caused by fire, cold needles, red nuclei, dolphin rushing, and qi rushing from the lower abdomen to the heart. For example, a woman surnamed Cui, 50 years old, is very ill. She felt a stream of air flowing down the pubic thigh from the inner ankle, swollen in the lower abdomen, short of breath and palpitations in the heart, and broke out in a cold sweat on her head. After a while, the symptoms will decrease with the decrease of qi, two or three times a day, which is very scary. Pale and yellow, tender tongue, white and moist fur, rapid pulse, unable to press.
The Chinese medicine name of this syndrome is "running dolphin", but this syndrome rarely occurs. Moreover, the attack of the running dolphin is because the heart yang is insufficient, so it has no right to sit on the seat, and the yin evil of the lower jiao kidney can rush on it. Today, the yin is fighting against the yang, so the pulse is weak although it has a few strings; Chord pulse belongs to yin, and goes against the pulse. Don't blame dolphins for bloating, wheezing and palpitations when they pass by. A weak and tender tongue is a deficiency of heart yang. The treatment should be to help the heart yang, reduce the kidney and reduce the influence. Cinnamomum cassia twig with cinnamon sugar and 6g black tin, five doses of * * *, will not cause disease.
2. Guizhi plus Shaoyao Decoction: This prescription Zhongjing is used to treat abdominal pain after sun disease. The rest are effective in treating chronic bacillary dysentery. The record is as follows: Wang, male, 46 years old. Symptoms: diarrhea 3-6 times a day, shapeless, with red mucus, which is urgent and then heavy. Its pulse is heavy and slippery, and its tongue is red, white and coated. Western medicine diagnosed chronic bacillary dysentery, and stool examination showed red blood cells and white blood cells. The condition was delayed for one year but the treatment was ineffective.
I think this syndrome is disharmony between liver and spleen, disharmony between qi and blood, liver and wood multiplying spleen, and spleen losing transport, so the yin does not rise but falls, and the pulse is string. This syndrome is neither cold nor hot, it lies in fiction and fact, and it is useless to supplement it, and the treatment of cold and heat is also ineffective. If the liver and spleen are properly treated and qi and blood are harmonious, dysentery can be stopped without special treatment. The prescription is divided into four doses with Guizhi decoction, Paeonia lactiflora and * *, and the stool gradually forms and heals.
3. Guizhi plus Pueraria Decoction; This prescription treats apoplexy and sweating due to bad wind, but it shows several symptoms such as strong neck and back. Clinically, it has curative effects on chest and back pain of coronary heart disease and mouth and eye deviation of Yangming disease. Such as Zhang, female, 26 years old. Because it was a long-distance bus, facing the open window, the wind blew on my face, and I felt very cold at that time. When I got home, I found my facial muscles tense and my mouth and eyes askew. Pulse is cut and floating, and tongue coating is white and moist. The syndrome belongs to the meridian of yang in the wind, as the synopsis of the golden chamber says: "Collaterals are weak, thieves do not diarrhea, or left or right, evil spirits are slow, positive qi leads to evil spirits, and the vortex is unsuccessful." Yangming apoplexy should be treated with Guizhi plus Gegen decoction, Rhizoma Typhonii and Scorpio. Take two doses of sweat and you'll be well.
4. Guizhi plus ginseng soup (hereinafter referred to as singa Decoction): This prescription is used to treat body pain and delayed pulse after sweating. This prescription is often effective in treating women's physical pain caused by blood loss and glory deficiency after postpartum or menstrual cramps. A woman surnamed Fan suddenly felt pain after giving birth to a child. She once took biochemical soup for two times, but it was ineffective. The students who followed my internship were diagnosed with deficiency of both qi and blood and physical pain. It is effective to take it with tonics such as angelica and astragalus, but it is not cured. Thin pulse, pale tongue and thin white fur. Tell me to use new soup, and the pain will go away after three doses. Trainees don't understand the meaning. I said that the key is that cassia twig and ginger can make ginseng and peony replenish the blood on the body surface, which not only tonify but also strengthen the function of Wei Rong, so the effect is more remarkable.
5. Guizhi plus Fuzi decoction: this can cure sweating, wind and urine are unfavorable, and limbs are unfavorable. It can be seen that this recipe has the functions of strengthening yang and suction yin, expelling wind and stopping sweating. In my opinion, this prescription should be used to increase the dosage of aconite for the elderly with exogenous yang deficiency, heavy pulse and sweating due to evil wind, and to warm the meridians and support the yang, giving consideration to both good and evil. Different from Mahuang Fuzi Asarum Decoction syndrome, it depends on whether there is sweating or not. If Guizhi plus Fuzi decoction is ineffective, it should be consolidated urgently and Sini decoction should be used.
6. Guizhi plus Huangqi Decoction: Zhongjing used this prescription to treat jaundice, floating pulse and insufficient health for a long time. The implication is that when there is a fever and sweating syndrome. However, this prescription is also very effective in treating neuritis and numbness of hands and feet in clinic.
7. Guizhi plus Danggui Decoction: This prescription is used to treat Wei Rong deficiency caused by disharmony in Wei Rong, or excessive sweating and leakage of Rongyin. Therefore, Xu Ling advocated adding angelica to Guizhi decoction. I use this prescription to treat numbness on the left side of my body, but the pulse is thready and the tongue is pale, which is often effective.
8. Guizhi plus Trichosanthes Decoction: This prescription treats spasticity caused by insufficient body fluid and dryness of the sun, which is manifested as strong body. Compared with Guizhi plus Gegen decoction syndrome, it is divided into floating pulse and sinking pulse, thirst and non-thirst.
9. Guizhi plus Houpuxing Decoction: This prescription treats the stroke syndrome of solar disease and asthma. Clinically, it can be used for patients with exogenous wind-cold, thready pulse and white tongue coating. This prescription should be compared with Maxingshi dry soup to distinguish cold and heat; If compared with Mahuang decoction, we should distinguish between exterior deficiency and exterior excess.
Second, Jiawei Guizhi Decoction:
Guizhi Qushaoyao Decoction: This prescription is also effective in treating chest distress caused by sun syndrome and pulse, as well as chest distress, shortness of breath and cough accompanied by heart disease.
Third, there is the addition and subtraction of Guizhi Decoction:
1. Guizhi Qugui plus Fuling Baizhu Decoction: This can cure Guizhi Decoction, otherwise it will still cause severe pain in the head and neck, fever, anhidrosis, slight pain in the heart and unfavorable urination. I use this prescription to treat "palpitation" and "bloating" and abdominal muscle spasm in abdominal diagnosis. This prescription is effective. Yesterday, Chen Xiuyuan was in Jiaqing on the 5th, and Xie Zhitian, the official department, made the head of the family feel intense pain, physical pain, and his heart was full, which was not conducive to urinating. No sweating, no irritability, and six-pulse flooding after taking external medicine. I suspected Sun Yangming's disease at the first diagnosis and thought about it for a long time. I said I used to get sick in the invisible sun, but now I get sick in the visible sun. However, if the visible sun urinates, the pathogenic qi will sweat with the invisible menstrual qi, so Guizhi to Jia Gui Fuling Baizhu Decoction will be used.
2. Guizhi Quyao plus Shuqi Oyster Gulong Jiuni Decoction: This prescription treats fire robbery and forced sweating, and the deficiency of heart yang makes the evil of phlegm and water fascinated and frightened. Yu said that it is effective to lubricate the tongue with light moss to treat schizophrenia. Sometimes you throw up after taking medicine, you must know.
3. Guizhi Qushaoyao and Fuzi Decoction: This recipe treats sun disease, and the pulse after the lower pulse promotes chest fullness and aversion to cold. Yu Zongqi's healthy qi is also effective in treating arthralgia caused by deficiency of heart-qi and yang and stagnation of cold pathogen. The cases recorded today are as follows: Wang, male, 46 years old, construction worker. For years, I felt chest tightness and even pain, especially in cold weather, accompanied by cough and shortness of breath. Slow pulse-taking, cold handshake, long pulse-asking, pale and tender tongue, white and slightly slippery fur. The syndrome is that the heart-yang deficiency is weak, the haze is distributed in the chest, and the qi and blood are unfavorable, which is also the syndrome of chest obstruction. It is advisable to warm and tonify kidney-yang to relieve cold coagulation. Guizhi decoction has only three kinds of medicines except ginger and jujube, and the patient said that he did not believe it. A week later, I came to tell you that I took six doses in a row, each time it was lighter, and the dull pain in my chest for many years was relieved.
To sum up, Guizhi decoction can relieve muscle sweating, regulate Wei Rong, qi and blood, spleen and stomach, yin and yang, lower qi, lower blood pressure, dilate blood vessels and relieve spasms, so it is the highest in the group and has its own unique features, so it has a wide range of treatment.
