The river water in this township has large energy reserves, rich water resources and high utilization rate. Nanhua River is the longest river in the township, and Nanhua Reservoir has been used for fish farming and power generation irrigation. In recent decades, the waterworks has been located at the foot of Guanghui Village Temple, making full use of the Nanhua water of 10,000 mu of green hills to serve the life and production of urban and rural residents in Ruijin. After the restructuring of waterworks, Minxing Water ensured that urban residents had normal tap water in dry years. In 2008, water storage reservoirs were built in Dabei and Gubei in the upper reaches of Anzhi River, which can ensure that residents in Ruijin have running water even in dry years. Due to the high head of Nanhua water not far from Ruijin City, the prospect of comprehensive utilization of Nanhua water will be even greater.
Four rivers in the Territory are used exclusively for farmland irrigation, small power plants and rice mills. Anzhi River: Zeqin Shankeng Reservoir, Tongzibei Power Station, Lanchong Changbu Rice Mill and Power Station. Yonghong: Wugong Rice Mill, Fuyukeng Power Station, Rice Mill, Linxing, Jiaolingxia Rice Mill, Xiashanliao Rice Mill, Zhushanxia Rice Mill, Taozhu Gupi Power Station Rice Mill, Caozhikeng Rice Mill and Anzhilanwu Water Turbine Pump. Zeqin Township is dominated by low mountains, hills and river valleys, and the exposed strata mainly include metamorphic rocks and Quaternary. Therefore, groundwater is abundant and widely distributed. Such as Renceng, Miaojiao, Luoxi, Mulinggang, Jiaogongwan, Liaowugang, Xuwei, Xiaozhoufang, Bazixia, Xiachenwu and other places are located in the pore groundwater area of Quaternary loose rocks, where residents generally suppress pumps. Use manual pressure pump or well to collect groundwater for production and life. Today, hundreds of people come here to extract natural pure water every day in Nankengkou urban area. In 2009, the forest vegetation in Zeqin Township was1601.2 hectares, accounting for 63. 1% of the total area, and the forest coverage rate was 83.3%. Coniferous forests dominated by conifers are distributed in forest areas, districts and villages, especially in Zeqin, Buquan, Taolin and Lanchong. Evergreen broad-leaved forests such as FAGACEAE, Lauraceae and Theaceae are also widely distributed. Mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests are distributed in Yonghong Village: Huangbiekeng, Xiping Village: Tiankeng and Shigoukeng; Anzhi village: high house, stone pit; Guanghui Village: staurolite, Zhuzhongkeng and other hilly areas. In the 1990s, we vigorously planted trees to increase the forest vegetation rate. Abundant forest resources are a major advantage of Zeqin Township, which ranks first among all townships in the city and is known as the hometown of forestry.
Meadow vegetation 13336.8 hectares, accounting for 53% of the total area of the township, concentrated in Xiping Village: Tiankeng, Qishan 'ao, etc. Xinfeng village: Aikeng and other places. Others are scattered in various tribes in villages and towns.
The total vegetation area of green plants in the township (including forests, meadows, crops, citrus and other fruit and tea forests and economic forests) is 2 1590 hectares, accounting for more than 85% of the total area of the township.
