Wenzhou geographical resources
Wenzhou is located in the southeast of Zhejiang Province, bordering the East China Sea in the east, Fujian in the south, Lishui in the west and northwest, and Taizhou in the north and northeast. The territory is trapezoidal from southwest to northeast. Wenzhou belongs to subtropical monsoon climate zone, with obvious alternation of winter and summer monsoon, moderate temperature, four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. County was founded in 323 AD, and it was called Wenzhou in 675 AD.
Wenzhou has fertile soil, numerous rivers and lakes and rich marine resources, and is the land of plenty in the south of the Yangtze River. Grain crops are mainly rice, and cash crops are mainly citrus, tea, loquat, bayberry, sugarcane, jute and tomato 160.
Non-metallic mineral resources include alunite, granite and quartzite. Among them, alunite reserves account for the national reserves, and the quality, color and variety of products rank among the top in the country. The offshore continental shelf basin east of Wenzhou is rich in oil and natural gas resources. The primary vegetation of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest in Wu Yanling, Taishun County is a green treasure house in southern Zhejiang.
