Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, located in Minhang District, Shanghai, China, is a special station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd., which started construction on July 20, 2008 and was put into use on July 1 day, 2065438. The northern end of Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station is connected with Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and Shanghai-Han Rong express passenger transport corridor, and the southern end is connected with Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway and Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo passenger dedicated line, which is an integral part of Shanghai Hongqiao comprehensive transportation hub.

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station has set up a direct drinking table and a purified boiling water room to provide direct drinking water and normal temperature water. Each direct drinking water equipment * * * is equipped with two drinking tables, blue for adults and orange for children. Each drinking table has three taps for drinking from cups and two taps for direct drinking.
Direct drinking water equipment adopts the combined purification process of activated carbon, ultrafiltration membrane and ultraviolet ray, and accepts three-level water quality testing: weekly self-inspection, sampling inspection every ten days and monthly third-party testing.
During Spring Festival travel rush, Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station installed an electronic reading cloud screen machine in the waiting hall. Passengers can download e-books for free by scanning the QR code. In September, Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station launched an intelligent guidance system for toilet seats. The screen at the door of the toilet shows the space plan of the toilet, indicating each toilet seat. The red screen indicates that the toilet seat is used, and the green screen indicates that the toilet seat is not used.
