Guidu Expressway is a section of Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway in Guizhou, with a total length of 78.82km from Guiyang to duyun city. The connecting lines of the second and third grade highways are constructed at the same time for about10km.

The First Company of CCCC No.4 Navigation Bureau undertakes the seventh and ninth contract sections of Guidu Expressway. Route K244+000 of the seventh contract section starts at Hexiu Village, Guiding County, passes through Yinba Village, Ying Ying Zui Village and Leyong Village of Changming Town, and ends at the bottom of the village, with a mileage of K250+400 and a total length of 6.4 kilometers. Structures along the line include Yingkou Tunnel, Leyong 1, 2/3 Bridges, subgrade works and culvert works.
The ninth bid starts at K257+700, located in Ma Zhi Township, Longli County, passes through Gatuopo Mountain, Ploughhead Chong, Bantouchong and Jiutiao Longshan, and ends at K264+800, with a total length of 7. 1 km. Buildings along the line include Gatuopo Tunnel, Jiutiaolong Tunnel, subgrade engineering and culvert engineering.

Sifangtan Scenic Spot in Guizhou Province is less than 100 meter away from Shimen Kanter Bridge of Guidu Expressway. Bridge builders always adhere to the concept of environmental protection and strictly control the possible vegetation damage during construction. The mechanical equipment and raw materials needed to build the bridge are all carried by hand, and mules and horses are carried halfway up the mountain. Only 1 1 air compressor and 1 20 sets of lifting equipment needed for pier foundation excavation were carried by more than 60 people shouting trumpets for 6 days.

Guidu Expressway is an important part of Guizhou expressway network, and it is also an important channel for Guizhou to reach coastal provinces and even southwest regions. Guidu Expressway is over 80 kilometers long. The karst geological characteristics of the area it passes through are obvious, the terrain is complex, the construction conditions are bad and the construction is difficult.
During the route selection of the project, after many field surveys and strict comparison and demonstration, the builders try their best to make use of wasteland and non-cultivated land, avoid areas with fragile environment, particularly sensitive environment and frequent geological disasters, take practical environmental protection measures to prevent soil erosion, strengthen the protection of forest resources, water resources, scenic spots and historical sites, and pay attention to the coordination between large-scale engineering structures and natural landscapes.
Guidu expressway project always implements the concept of environmental protection and resource saving, and the whole line insists on cutting corners and straightening. The design length of the whole line from Guiyang to Duyun is only 80.96 kilometers, which is more than 40 kilometers shorter than that of the original Guiyang-Xinzhai Expressway. In addition, the ratio of road to bridge to tunnel is as high as 50%, and the occupation of cultivated land is obviously reduced. Compacted subgrade is more than 7.3 million cubic meters, which is basically subgrade excavation and tunnel waste slag, and there are more than 400,000 cubic meters of soil filling alone.
Construction sewage and waste gas emissions strictly implement national standards.
After the construction and supervision unit of Guidu Expressway project entered the site, the owner established the environmental protection system of the project and defined the responsibilities and obligations of all parties. The discharge of sewage and waste gas, noise control, treatment of toxic and harmful substances and domestic garbage at the construction site are strictly controlled in accordance with relevant national standards.
In order to implement the requirements of environmental protection and resource conservation, Guidu Expressway implements the target responsibility system of environmental protection and soil and water conservation, and signs environmental responsibility letters with construction and supervision units every year. In addition to setting up a special chapter on "Environmental Protection Management" in the project management method and safety management manual to strengthen environmental protection management, combined with the actual project construction and the requirements of relevant government departments for environmental protection of the project construction, the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Construction Environment and Soil and Water Conservation of Guidu Expressway (for Trial Implementation) was formulated to strengthen environmental awareness through education, improve prevention ability through environmental governance, and eliminate environmental hazards through environmental inspection.
Nearly 20 of the 5 supervision units, 3 general contracting construction units and 13 construction units of this project have adopted the methods of renting houses and abandoned factories to solve the temporary resident construction, saving a large part of temporary land acquisition. In addition, all units always adhere to the concept of environmental protection during the construction of service roads, beam yards and mixing stations. And choose a place with no or little vegetation cover and easy recovery.
Most of the sand and gravel used in the concrete engineering, protection engineering and drainage engineering of the whole bridge and tunnel of Guidu Expressway are made from local materials and discarded.
The construction unit always keeps in mind the word "harmony" and actively cooperates with the local government to create a harmonious construction environment. It is reported that the construction access road of the whole highway is 190 km, of which nearly 50 km is combined with the reconstruction and expansion of rural roads.
