Wangniudun Govern Building is located next to Govern Bridge on the west side of Wang Xi, Wangniudun Town, Dongguan City.
According to the records of the town, the original name of the Govern Pagoda in Wangniudun is Slunge, and the locals call it Govern, so this tower is also called "Govern Pagoda", which has been in use ever since and has become a representative cultural relic of Wangniudun Town. According to records, this tower was built by raising funds around the tenth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (namely 187 1 year). The pagoda was originally hexagonal, with three floors and a height of 1 1.5 meters. Now the tower has been rebuilt into two floors. The tower is based on red stone, the pavilion is built with blue bricks and gray sand, and the eaves extend out, which highlights the exquisite folk art.
On the front of the Govern Tower in Wangniudun, there is a stone door with the word "Govern" engraved on his forehead. There are couplets on both sides: "The rising sun is warm and moist, and the rosy clouds look around the ancient pavilion." There is a rectangular red stone engraved with the words "Xing Xing Yu Xiu" above the main entrance on the first floor of the Tower Gate, and there is a red stone engraved with the words "Silunge" in the middle of the second floor along the gate. This floor is a hollow pavilion. There was originally a floor in the pavilion, where the stairs circled up and down, and there were wooden ladders in the tower, which was quite beautiful in the water town.
Due to years of disrepair and man-made destruction, the wooden structure in the Govern Pagoda in Wangniudun has been lost, the pavilion tip is damaged, the pavilion body is cracked and damaged, and it is full of small trees, which is in urgent need of maintenance. 1989, the town government rebuilt it once, adding two floors to the original three-storey building, with a height of about17m, a tower foundation circumference of about12m, and a brick wood eaves structure. There are phase wheels and tower brakes at the top of the tower, and there are small doors around the bottom of the tower. Starting from the second floor, the hexagonal tower body of each floor stands on the angular lotus base, and the lotus petals are staggered up and down, extending left and right, bearing the tower body on the top and protecting the tower base on the bottom.
