The first drift in the world-Mengdong River
Mengdong River is named after "the mountain is as fierce as a tiger, the water is as urgent as a dragon, and there are many holes". "Zhangjiajie sees the mountains and the Mengdong River plays with water" has become the essence of tourism in Xiangxi, Hunan Province. Mengdong River is rich in water, with steep slope and many waves. The tall cliff goes straight into the water, and the two banks are close together, forming a deep canyon landscape. On both sides of the river, ancient trees are towering, green is about to drip, strange stones are scattered, flowing springs and waterfalls can be seen everywhere, all the way down the river, the water is blue and the mountains are green, the scenery is beautiful, wild monkeys are in groups, and the caves are strange. Now there are two projects on the Mengdong River: the first rafting in the upper reaches and the Pinghu ecological tour in the lower reaches.
This is the first drifting in the world. The starting point of Hani Palace is about 40 kilometers away from Wangcun, and the driving time is 1 hour. The end of Lu Niu River is 30 minutes' drive from Wangcun. The drifting channel is17km long and the drifting time is two and a half hours. Boating down from Hani Palace, all the way is an ancient river, with steep cliffs, rugged rocks, strange beaches, shady trees on both sides, misty clouds, waterfalls, gurgling springs and karst peaks and forests complement each other. Turn 155 turn, shuttle 133 beaches, take a circuitous stroll, and enjoy your mind and spirit. Mengdong River rafting was praised as "the best rafting in the world" by the famous sociologist Mr. Fei Xiaotong, and was also rated as one of the only two four-star rafting projects in China by China Travel Agency.
