Qinghai museum travel guide

It is said that if you want to know a city, you must first visit the museum of the city you are going to, so that you can truly understand the customs and cultural heritage accumulated in this city for thousands of years. The museums in Qinghai are basically located in Xining, a city with diverse ethnic cultures, which has nurtured Tibetan medicine culture and religious culture. The richness of culture also makes the city mysterious.

Qinghai Provincial Museum The Qinghai Provincial Museum was rebuilt from the private residence of Ma Bufang, a former local warlord in Qinghai, and is one of the landmark buildings in Xining. The treasure of the town hall is "Golden Guanyin", and there is Mo Bao of Zhang Daqian in the hall. Next door to the museum is Qinghai Art Museum. There are paintings and art exhibitions on the first and third floors, which are also free to visit.

After visiting these two museums, you can go to the nearby Xinning Square "Baohulu Northwest Traditional Snack" to drink a bowl of improved modern health-preserving eight-treasure milk tea, including a large cup of health-preserving milk tea with longan, medlar, red dates and roses, which tastes excellent.

Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum is a combination of two museums. Tibetan Medicine Museum is the only comprehensive museum in the world that collects, protects, displays and studies Tibetan culture. There are many exhibition halls in the museum, which are rich in content. It is really amazing that people can learn about Tibetan medicine, Tibetan history and culture, astronomical calendar, Thangka and other basic contents in a few hours.

The most amazing thing in the whole museum is the 6 18m Thangka (religious scroll painting mounted with colored satin), which was completed by more than 400 top artists of ethnic minorities for more than 20 years and recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. It is said that the valuation is 7.7 billion yuan. As this museum is not allowed to take photos, we can only record the wonderful things of Thangkari with our eyes and hearts.

Tibetan medicine, as the four traditional medicines in the world, has a history of four or five thousand years. It can successfully complete craniotomy and perforation 4000 years ago, and it can treat cataract in the fifth century. It's amazing.
