30 meters. Jingjiang Mazhou Island used to be a sandbar by the river. During the Three Kingdoms period, it slowly silted up into land. Ma Tuosha was called in ancient times, also known as Jisha, Jijiang, Zhu Ji, Mazhou, Mucheng and Yinsha. Located in the easternmost part of Jingjiang Island, it is a part of the alluvial plain of the Yangtze River. Covering an area of 1.55 million mu, it was originally named Jiang Xinzhou in geomorphology. The highest altitude is only 30 meters. Jingjiang City, referred to as Beijing for short, is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province. Hosted by Taizhou City, located in the southeast of Taizhou City. It belongs to subtropical monsoon climate and is a new port industrial city in Jiangsu Province.
