Sōka Gakkai Beijing Office, as the permanent representative office of Sōka Gakkai, was formally incorporated in September 2005 according to the laws of China. As a window representing Sōka Gakkai, Beijing Office has established business contacts with relevant domestic institutions.
1. Soka University Sino-Japanese Friendship Academic Funding Project
Research funds aimed at deepening Sino-Japanese friendship and mutual understanding.
Deepen mutual understanding between China and Japan and promote friendly research between the two countries. The funds are provided in the following forms:
Provide research funds for researchers in China.
Providing publishing funds for the works of researchers in China.
Provide research funds for Japanese researchers in China.
2. Take care of students studying in China.
At present, there are 40 students in Sōka Gakkai University who have stayed in China for more than 1 year, including 1+2+ 1 double-degree courses in the Faculty of Arts, exchange students and Japanese interns. Among them, there are 24 international students in Beijing, and the Beijing Office will provide support and help for international students to live a safe and meaningful life abroad. 3. Production and distribution of Chuangda News (Chinese version)
The news of the Chinese version of Chuangda News (Sun Zhongwen Edition) is mainly based on the news of China delegation's visit to Soka University, plus the abstracts at that time and the contributions of relevant personnel. It is published every three months with 2000 copies each time.
The mailing targets are: the president of the Exchange University, the exchange staff of Chuangda University, the participants of academic conferences held in China, and about 600 research grant applicants. 4. Others
