After the Japanese invaders surrendered, Yin Rugeng was taken into custody in Hutongjun Prison of Beiping Artillery Bureau that year. 1946 was airlifted to Nanjing on June 26th, and was tried the next day. More than 2000 people attended the trial. Yin Rugeng knew he was guilty, but he was lucky. He racked his brains, listed all the achievements of "assisting the war of resistance" and wrote tens of thousands of words of confessions, trying to beautify himself and excuse his crimes.
