Introduction of Suzhou Hall of Fame

Suzhou Hall of Fame is located at No.2075 Renmin Road, Suzhou, 400 meters north of the North Temple Tower. The 447 ancient sages of Suzhou displayed in the Hall of Fame are a wonderful display of Suzhou's "rich in wealth and outstanding in talents".

The Hall of Fame has a building area of 2,368 square meters and an exhibition area of 1.500 square meters. There are 447 people including Suzhou historical celebrities, Premier No.1 scholar and academicians of the two academies. Famous historical figures include Wu Taibo and his ancestors; He Lv and Fu Cha in the Spring and Autumn Period: Sun Quan in the Three Kingdoms Period; Lu Tanwei and Zhang Sengyou in "Four Masters of Six Dynasties"; Gu, the earliest existing dictionary of regular script in China, was compiled during the Southern Dynasties. Calligrapher "Cao Sheng" Zhang Xu, a famous figure in the Northern Song Dynasty Yang Huizhi; And Fan Chengda, a famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. Ming Sijia, Shen Zhou, Tang Yin, Feng Menglong, the representative figures of popular literature, and Kuai Xiang, the originator of Xiangshan craftsmen, was called Kuailuban. Gu, a historian in Qing Dynasty, Qian, the leader of Yushan Poetry School, Pan, a representative of Suzhou Guipan School, and his grandson Pan Zuyin. Zhang Taiyan, a master of Chinese studies in the Republic of China, Li Genyuan, a veteran of the Republic of China who retired from Suzhou, Wu Mei, a master of modern music research, and Liu Yazi and Chen Qubing, the founders of Nanshe, are known as Cheng Xiaoqing, Fan Yanqiao and Zhou Shoujuan, the three old men in Suzhou cultural circles.
