In order to prepare for the 20 1 1 spring ploughing, Xinjiang agricultural machinery authorities arranged in advance, actively mobilized and guided cadres and workers at all levels to devote themselves to the maintenance of locomotives and agricultural machinery, comprehensively restored and improved the performance and technical conditions of agricultural machinery needed for spring ploughing and spring sowing in agricultural production, and made it in a good state of ploughing and sowing, thus ensuring the timely, high-quality and efficient operation of agricultural machinery in the field. According to incomplete statistics, up to now, Xinjiang has overhauled 320,000 tractors and 500,000 farm tools.
In response to the activity of "Agricultural Machinery Science and Technology Service at the Grass-roots Level" carried out by the Agricultural Machinery Bureau of the Autonomous Region and the Agricultural Machinery Society of the Autonomous Region in Xinjiang, the grass-roots agricultural machinery departments sent professional and technical personnel to the front line of spring ploughing and spring sowing production and the homes of agricultural machinery households to provide technical services for farmers and herdsmen free of charge. Up to now, the total number of technicians investing in Xinjiang has reached 26,569.
Affected by cold air such as cold current, the spring sowing time in Xinjiang is generally about 7 ~ 15 days later than in previous years. The spring sowing of agricultural machinery in southern Xinjiang has begun, and some areas in northern Xinjiang have just started. According to statistics, up to now, the planned mechanized farming area in Xinjiang is 23.63 million mu, the actual mechanized farming area is 6.5438+0.28 million mu, the planned mechanized sowing area is 26.98 million mu, and the actual mechanized sowing area is 670,000 mu.
