Jinshan Temple in Fuzhou is located on the Wulong River near Tang Hong Village in the western suburbs of Fuzhou. Built in the Song Dynasty, it is the only underwater temple in Fuzhou. Jinshan Temple was originally a small stone hill in the middle of the river. Because its shape is like a lithograph floating on the water, it is like the Jinshan in Zhenjiang, south of the Yangtze River, so it is called "Xiaojinshan". Seven or eight hundred years ago, people built a seven-story and eight-level solid tower on this small mound, about 7 meters high, made of granite, and then built a temple around the tower. Due to the limited terrain, there are no towering temples and huge Buddha statues in the temple, but it is small and exquisite, full of interest and unique among the temples in the province.
