Psychological evaluation in the acceptance stage
The evaluation task at this stage is to collect the relevant information of visitors, make a preliminary judgment on the problem state and background information of visitors, so as to identify whether visitors receive psychological counseling and treatment provided by institutions.
Especially for those visitors who have obvious mental illness characteristics and need the intervention of professional medical institutions, they need to be evaluated and referred.
Psychological evaluation in the initial stage of counseling
In the initial stage of psychological counseling, the counselor is evaluated from three aspects through acceptance and initial interview.
(1) Evaluation of basic information of visitors: name, gender, personal experience, family environment, education level and whether they take psychotropic drugs, etc.
(2) Evaluation of information such as visitors' main problems and psychological state;
(3) The main problems of visitors and the evaluation of their psychological state.
Psychological evaluation in the middle stage of consultation
With the development of psychological counseling, evaluation becomes particularly important. One of the prerequisites for the success of psychological counseling is that the consultant should make clear the direction, goal and plan of counseling.
In the process of consultation, the counselor needs to reach an agreement with the visitors on the objectives of consultation and the adjustment of the later objectives, which are based on psychological evaluation.
Psychological evaluation in the later stage of psychological counseling
In the later stage of negotiation, the negotiation relationship between the two sides is coming to an end. At this time, psychological evaluation can consolidate the problem solving of visitors.
(1) The consultant needs to evaluate whether the consulting goal has been achieved. If the visitors have not changed positively, they need to reflect on the consultation relationship and objectives in the whole consultation process and make adjustments.
(2) The consultant will tell the visitors the results of the evaluation, let them know their own changes, and promote the consolidation and solution of the problem.
(3) Consultant evaluation, which evaluates whether the visitors have a sense of dependence on the consultant and whether they feel lost after consultation. ?
Psychological evaluation of referral
Psychological evaluation is one of the bases for counselors to decide whether to refer visitors. The following contents should be considered for reference or not.
(1) First, it is clear that the visitor is a normal person, but after evaluation, he is a visitor with serious psychological disorder or mental symptoms and should be referred.
(2) Most counselors have their own problems to solve, especially novices. Don't receive visitors with psychological problems who are unfamiliar or uncertain.
(3) Even counselors have their own unfinished events, so counselors should evaluate not only the psychological problems of visitors, but also their own psychology.
