Under the overall coordination of the national network information department, the public security department of the State Council is responsible for guiding and supervising the security protection of key information infrastructure. The State Council telecommunications authorities and other relevant departments shall, in accordance with the provisions of these regulations and relevant laws and administrative regulations, be responsible for the security protection, supervision and management of key information infrastructure within their respective functions and duties. The relevant departments of the provincial people's government shall, according to their respective responsibilities, implement security protection and supervision and management of key information infrastructure.
According to Article 8 of the Network Security Law of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Network Information is responsible for coordinating network security and related supervision and management. The State Council telecommunications authorities, public security departments and other relevant departments are responsible for network security protection, supervision and management within the scope of their respective responsibilities and in accordance with this Law and relevant laws and administrative regulations. The responsibilities of network security protection and supervision and management of relevant departments of local people's governments at or above the county level shall be determined in accordance with relevant state regulations.

The Cyber Security Law of the People's Republic of China is a law formulated to ensure cyber security, safeguard cyberspace sovereignty, national security and social interests, protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons and other organizations, and promote the healthy development of economic and social informatization. The NPC Standing Committee promulgated it on 20161.7, and it will take effect on June 2017/year.
Decree of the President of the People's Republic of China (No.53) was promulgated.
