Min Dian (? - 1555)

" Mindian was inspired, so he joined hands with Pan Yuanxiao, a student from Taiwan Province, to train nearly a thousand rural soldiers to resist Japan.
1553 (thirty-one year of Ming Jiajing) In February, the pirates at sea joined forces with Japanese soldiers in Xinchang and Laostorou in an attempt to invade Nanhui City again. Liu was sentenced to unite with Chen Bao, commander-in-chief of Zhenjiang, to surround the enemy overseas Chinese in Lian Bi near Tan Zhi. In the fierce battle, Chen Bao died unfortunately. Pan Yuanxiao defended overseas Chinese in Lian Bi, fought bloody battles with the enemy and died unfortunately. Only when the enemy breaks through and escapes. Min Dian led hundreds of rural soldiers to the rescue and stopped the Japanese soldiers on the way to escape. Due to the strict training of the rural soldiers in Mindian and Mindian's leading role, they were very rustic, wiped out the remaining enemies in one fell swoop, and won a complete victory in the battle of Huaqiao in Lian Bi. Since then, Min Dian led the township soldiers to attack the Japanese pirates many times in China, and they won many battles, which made the Japanese pirates in China fearful. 1555 (thirty-four years of Ming Jiajing), Fujian and Yunnan attacked the enemy troops entrenched in Xinchang. Min Dian was killed in this fierce battle because of the tight defense and full preparation of the enemy.
