1 introduction the informatization of construction industry refers to the process of upgrading the technical and management level of construction industry by using information technology in the stages of planning, survey, design, construction installation, operation management and maintenance, as well as related supervision, consultation and intermediary services. Since entering the 2 1 century, the decisive role of information in economic growth has become more and more obvious, and promoting national economy and social informatization is an important part of the national development strategy. The construction industry is one of the foundations of the national economy. How to make full use of computer, network, artificial intelligence and other emerging technical means, optimize the construction process, improve the production efficiency of the construction industry, and embark on a road of information development suitable for the characteristics of China's construction industry is an urgent task for researchers in the construction field. In order to promote the development of China's construction informatization, in June 2007, the former Ministry of Construction issued the research task of "Research and Application of Key Technologies of Construction Informatization", a key project of the "Eleventh Five-Year National Science and Technology Support Plan". The compilation of the Basic Terminology Standard of Information Technology Application in Construction Industry (hereinafter referred to as Terminology Standard) is one of the achievements of the research on the application standard system and general standard of information technology in construction industry. 2. Research Status of Standards Related to Building Informatization 2. 1 Overview of Development of International Standards Related to Building Informatization The international organizations that promote building informatization standards mainly include the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Interoperability Alliance (IAI). These two organizations have done a lot of work in promoting the development of informatization standards in the construction industry, and a series of standards formulated and promulgated by them have been referenced by many countries when formulating their own standards. As the data standard of bim (Building Information Modeling), IFC issued by IAI has developed rapidly and has become the basis of international building software exchange and information sharing. In addition, Green Building XML (gbXML) initiated by California Energy Commission is one of the main BIM data standards developed in recent years. Since 1990s, the informatization of construction industry in developed countries has developed very rapidly. From FIAPP project in the United States to CALS/EC construction in Japan, and then to ELSEWISE project in Europe, many countries have formed a set of information development model of construction industry which is in line with their national conditions. In this process, countries have paid unprecedented attention to the formulation of standards and norms related to construction informatization. For example, the American Building Standardization Association (CSI) and the Canadian Building Standardization Association (CSC) have jointly formulated a set of Master Format for building product information. After decades of continuous improvement and perfection, it has basically formed the only widely used coding system in North America. While promoting CALS/EC planning, Japan has also formulated a series of standards and specifications, mainly including: classification coding standards, application data standards and information exchange and service standards, such as building information classification coding standards and CAD data exchange standards. 2.2 Overview of the development of domestic standards related to informatization in the construction industry. China began to study the informatization standard of construction industry from the tenth five-year plan. In the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" urban planning, construction, management and service digitalization project, the research work on the informatization standard system in the construction field was carried out. In 2003, the former Ministry of Construction promulgated the Standard System of Engineering Construction (urban and rural planning and urban housing construction), which made a preliminary plan for the information standard system in the construction field; In the key project "Research and Application of Key Technologies of Information Technology in Construction Industry" of the National Eleventh Five-Year Plan for Science and Technology Support, relevant units have compiled the Framework of Information Technology Standard System for Construction Industry, Information Coding Standard for Construction Enterprises, Basic Data Standard for Construction Enterprise Management, Technical Specification for Construction of Data Center for Construction Enterprises and Basic Terminology Standard for Information Technology Application in Construction Industry, which are to be elaborated in this paper. 3. The source and location of basic terminology standards for the application of information technology in construction industry 3. 1 After nearly 20 years of development, the application of information technology in China's construction industry has been greatly expanded and deepened. However, with the deepening of the application of information technology, some problems that can not be ignored are exposed, such as: the nonstandard data description affects universality; Software development and system construction are not standardized, which affects interchangeability; Business requirements are not standardized, which affects the application effect of information system. It not only causes a large number of information islands, but also causes inefficient management, which is extremely unfavorable to the enjoyment of information resources. The reason lies in the serious lack of informatization standards in China's construction industry. In order to standardize and promote the application of information technology in the construction industry, in June 5438+ 10, 2007, the former Ministry of Construction issued the research tasks of the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" science and technology support project "Research and Application of Key Technologies of Building Informatization" and "Research Project on Application Standard System and General Standards of Building Informatization" (2007BAF23B0 1). As one of the research results of this topic, the Basic Terminology Standard of Information Technology Application in Construction Industry is formulated for the key technology application of information construction in construction industry, and it is an engineering terminology standard that closely combines information construction and technical links such as construction survey, architectural design, construction, construction operation and maintenance, construction e-government, construction enterprise management, etc. The basic terminology standard of information technology application in construction industry is the basic standard in the information technology standard system of construction industry and the basis of information technology standardization in construction industry. It collects the terms involved in the process of informatization construction of construction industry, and standardizes their names and definitions, thus serving various activities of informatization application of construction industry. The position of the terminology standard of building informatization in the standard system of building informatization is shown in figure 1. 3.2 The meaning and connotation of terms Standard terms are professional terms in various disciplines. It is a conventional language symbol to express or limit scientific concepts through sound or words, a tool for exchanging ideas and understanding, and an indispensable tool for spreading knowledge and skills and social, cultural and economic exchanges. Terminology standards are standards based on various special terms. It collects representative nouns in the corresponding fields, or sorts out professional vocabulary without unified title, and mainly stipulates terms and their corresponding definitions (or explanations) and corresponding foreign names. Terminology standardization helps to distinguish professional boundaries from conceptual levels, thus making the formulation and revision of various standards go smoothly. The basic terminology standard of information technology application in construction industry is the basis of the whole information technology standard system in construction industry. By standardizing the basic terms involved in the process of informatization construction in the construction industry, we can define the scope of informatization in the construction industry, distinguish it from the traditional construction industry and pure information technology, and lay the foundation for the smooth development of informatization work. 3.3 Principles for Compiling Terminology Standards To compile terminology standards for building informatization, we must first make clear the overall framework of the standards, that is, the classification principles of all terms, so as to define the scope of terminology research, and then scientifically screen, classify and combine terms according to the framework of the standards, thus forming a terminology standard with clear hierarchy, clear system and scientific overall content. 3.3.65438+ According to the definition of building informatization, the complete life cycle of an entity building and the whole process of engineering construction generally include several stages of building planning, survey, design, construction and installation, and operation and maintenance of built environment. Therefore, we classify the basic terms of construction informatization according to the following parts and contents: general terms and construction survey informatization terms; Terminology of architectural design informatization; Terminology of building construction informatization; Terminology of building operation and maintenance informatization; Terms of e-government in construction industry; Terminology of construction enterprise management informatization. In the actual compilation process, it is often encountered that a term is associated with multiple units. The terminology standard only classifies the terminology under the most relevant unit, but it does not mean that the terminology is not related to other units. 3.3.2 Selection principle of basic terms of building informatization The basic terms of building informatization cover a wide range and have a huge number. It is very important to deal with the relationship among building informatization terms, general building terms and general information technology terms, and choose the terms that need to be standardized. The research group selected relevant terms according to the principles of foundation, authority and specialty, as shown in Table 2. In addition, the standard of "Basic Terms of Information Technology Application in Construction Industry" should be a relatively complete whole. In order to facilitate understanding, terms can be divided into several parts in form, but each part is interrelated and complementary; At the same time, considering the expansion and extension of terms by the development of information construction in the construction industry, standards should be constantly enriched and updated with the development of information technology and the continuous improvement of relevant international standards, national standards and industry standards.
