This is the core responsibility of the rights and interests department, including but not limited to safeguarding students' intellectual property rights, privacy rights, consumer rights and so on. When students encounter problems in study, life and practice, the Rights and Interests Department should provide them with help and support to help them safeguard their rights reasonably.
2. Participate in school management
The rights and interests department has the responsibility to participate in the democratic management of the school and express opinions and suggestions on issues that students care about. This includes not only various awards, campus safety and other standard issues, but also some social hot events and campus emergencies.
3. Provide legal advice
Due to the background of professional knowledge, the Rights and Interests Department provides legal advice to students, answers legal questions and helps students understand and use their legitimate rights and interests.
4. Advocating equality and justice
The Ministry of Rights and Interests should devote itself to eliminating unfair phenomena such as discrimination and bullying on campus and maintaining fairness and justice on campus. At the same time, the rights and interests department can also hold lectures and activities to improve students' legal awareness and self-protection awareness.
5. Bridging communication function
As a bridge between students and schools, the Rights and Interests Department should convey students' demands and suggestions to relevant departments of schools in time, and at the same time convey information such as school policies and notices to students in time, which plays a good communication role.
