What's the name of the toad in that well in southern Anhui?

In Wuhu, Anhui Province, newborn tadpoles are called "Toads bulge their bellies", probably because their bellies are a little big. The tadpole grew up, lost its tail and became a frog. Hefei is not called frog, but frog.
