Dongguan Technician College, founded by Dongguan Municipal People's Government and affiliated to Dongguan Human Resources Bureau, was founded on 1987. Is a full-time public national key technical school.
At present, there are 65 classes with 7,300 students, including senior engineering students 1320. School 1996 was rated as the first-class technical school in Guangdong province, 1998 as the provincial key technical school, 1999 as the national key technical school approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and in 2003, it was approved by the municipal government to add the brand of Dongguan Tourism Vocational School. In 2000, it was promoted to national key technical school, and in 2005, it was promoted to senior technical school. 20 1 1 Dongguan Technician College was established with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and it is one of the top 20 schools of technical education in Guangdong Province.
The college has two campuses, among which Dongcheng Campus is located in Guanlong Road, Dongcheng District, Dongguan, with convenient transportation, garden-like architecture, unique style and elegant environment, covering an area of 1.20 mu and a construction area of 97,000 square meters. All student dormitories are equipped with air conditioning and solar water heaters. The new campus is located in Dongguan Vocational Education City, Dongguan Ecological Industrial Park, covering an area of nearly 500 mu, with a construction area of 208,000 square meters and a total investment of 780 million yuan. It is planned to be put into use in September 2065438+2003. The new campus adheres to the environmental protection design concept of "people-oriented, sustainable development, high standard requirements and high starting point construction" in 2 1 century.
