The national online e-student ID number is a student's personal identity code (19 digits) and a unified code for the basic information of the personnel in the education system. It consists of type code (1 digit), citizen identity number (18 digits) or personal identity self-coding (18 digits).
The self-coding of personal identification (18 digits) is when the education individual has no citizenship number (second generation) or the original citizenship number is unavailable;
According to these rules, the Ministry of Education gives the educatee an educational identity number, and the personal identity self-coding (18 bits) is a characteristic combination code, which consists of a 17-bit digital ontology code and a check code. From left to right, the order is:
Six-digit address code, eight-digit date of birth code, three-digit serial code and one-digit check code.
Temporary student number: the national temporary student number coding rule is L+ the number generated according to the ID number coding rule (6-digit school district code +8-digit birth date +4-digit random code).
Official student number: with ID number: G+ ID number. No ID number: J+ ID number generation rules.

Extended Information According to Article 4 of the Measures for the Administration of Student Status of Primary and Secondary School Students (Beijing Student Status [2013] No.7) issued by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and China on August12003, schools should collect and input student status information for the first time, establish student status files and apply through the electronic student status system.
Accordingly, school-age children who have not entered the school for the first time at the place of residence for various reasons, but have entered the school for the first time outside the place of residence, can apply for registration at the school that has entered the school for the first time outside the place of residence.
