Cultural relic value

Four kinds of landscape paintings of the ancient lotus pond in Qing Dynasty fully reflected the elegant scene of the ancient lotus pond in its heyday, which not only provided us with strong evidence for understanding the engineering technology, artistic image and creative concept of garden construction at that time, but also provided valuable historical materials for studying the ancient garden architecture art in China.

The stone carvings in Huachi Garden in Gulian provide material data for the study of calligraphy and local chronicles, and have high material value. The ancient lotus pond not only has the charm of the royal court garden, but also combines the style and essence of the gardening art of China's north and south gardens, vividly embodying the characteristics of the times of Yuan, Ming and Qing gardens, and the gardening art has reached the harmonious unity of profound philosophy and perfect form.
