First, how does the unit pay the provident fund to the employees?
1. The old unit shall go to the housing provident fund management center to register the housing provident fund deposit, and after being approved by the housing provident fund management center, it shall go through the formalities for the establishment of housing provident fund accounts for its employees in the entrusted bank. Each employee has and can only have one housing provident fund account. The core of housing provident fund management is to establish a detailed account of employees' housing provident fund, and register and save the deposit and withdrawal of employees' individual housing provident fund.
2. The new unit shall, within 30 days from the date of establishment, handle the registration of housing provident fund deposit in the housing provident fund management center, and hold the audit documents of the housing provident fund management center within 20 days from the date of registration, and handle the procedures for the establishment of housing provident fund accounts for the employees of this unit in the entrusted bank.
3. In case of merger, division, cancellation or bankruptcy of a unit, the original unit or liquidation organization shall apply to the housing provident fund management center for registration of change or cancellation within one month from the date of the above-mentioned situation, and submit the audit documents to the housing provident fund management center within 20 days from the date of completing the registration of change or cancellation.
The general housing accumulation fund is deducted according to a certain proportion of your salary. Generally, the total post salary of the previous year is multiplied by a ratio (0.8% for operating companies and high 1% for general government agencies), which is the figure shown in the column of employees' monthly salary provident fund, but in fact, the actual value of employees' provident fund is twice this figure, and the company will pay half of the provident fund for employees.
5. Units that employ employees shall go to the housing provident fund management center for deposit registration within 30 days from the date of employment, and go to the entrusted bank for the establishment or transfer of employee housing provident fund accounts with the audit documents of the housing provident fund management center.
6. Where a unit terminates the labor relationship with its employees, it shall, within 30 days from the date of termination of the labor relationship, go through the formalities for changing the registration at the housing provident fund management center by the unit, and go through the formalities for transferring or sealing the employee's housing provident fund account at the entrusted bank by the audit documents of the housing provident fund management center.
7. In addition, when the unit fills in the registration form of housing provident fund deposit, there are some matters needing attention:
(1), the deposit ratio of units and individuals is consistent. If the company pays 12%, the individual also pays 12%.
(2), the same unit from the chairman, down to the general staff deposit ratio must be consistent.
(3) All kinds of information of employees must be filled in accurately.
Second, how to pay the housing provident fund
The payment base of housing provident fund is the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year. This payment base shall not be less than 60% of the local social wage in the previous year and shall not be higher than 300%.
The payment ratio is 5%- 12%, and the employer can decide within this range, and the most common one is 8%.
Companies and individuals make equal contributions according to the ratio of 1: 1, that is, the company will pay as much as the individual pays.
In addition, the company can also pay supplementary provident fund for employees on a voluntary basis, and the supplementary provident fund is paid by the company, and individuals do not pay.
It is both a responsibility and an obligation for employers to pay housing provident fund for employees. The housing provident fund paid by the employer for employees and the part paid by individual employees shall be remitted to the employee housing provident fund account and managed by the local housing provident fund management center. Employees are also reminded that if they need to withdraw housing provident fund due to specific circumstances, they should first apply to the unit and verify the situation with the unit, and then submit it to the housing provident fund management center for approval.
