part-time jobs/work
The University of Exeter provides a series of job opportunities for students to help them improve their employment rate and find jobs after graduation.
1. Career Service Center aims to collect future career information for students and discuss their job hunting intentions and personal qualifications with students. Job fairs are organized several times a year.
2. The website of employability has a lot of information about employment and internship. The monthly news of the website is very useful.
3. Work information points help students find internships and part-time jobs during school.
4. Some colleges, especially business schools, will organize various activities with employers, so that students can get in touch with employers.
The Cornwall campus holds a job fair every year, and many employers and units participate. Personal tutors and career counselors in the construction of student activities can help students make career decisions.
Common part-time jobs, such as bars, restaurants, clubs and shops, are available in Exeter and can be found through the university's part-time center Works. Generally speaking, the work on campus is demanding, and only graduate students can work in the school library. Of course, there are some other jobs, such as the liaison work of alumni association, the modeling of art college, and the paid test of psychology college. If you go further afield, you will find more flexible and higher-paying jobs, such as Marsh Barton and Thornton, two major industrial zones in Digby.
