Because I met a similar situation in the computer company last time.
Key position conflict!
Change the key position. But some keyboards still conflict no matter how they are changed. There is nothing we can do about it.
It is recommended not to buy a very advanced keyboard. In general, the more advanced, the more prone to conflict. Especially don't buy a Microsoft keyboard. It must be locked!
Attachment: The following is the information.
What is a bond conflict?
First of all, let's understand what is called key position conflict, which is an unavoidable problem in the finished keyboard so far. For a simple example, when we press CTRL+ALT+DEL at the same time in computer operation, the computer only recognizes that CTRL+ALT is pressed, but not DEL. This is called a critical conflict. Of course, this problem cannot happen. It doesn't matter whether the keyboard and other keys that meet the WINDOWS standard can recognize the combination normally. The important thing is that these three combinations can not conflict with the key factory, otherwise who would want a keyboard that cannot be restarted?
Our definition of key position conflict is that when two or three keys are pressed at the same time in the process of operating the keyboard, the keyboard can only correctly identify the first two keys and has no response to the third or fourth key at all. However, these problems often exist in the game and are unlikely to conflict with the combination shortcut keys of WINDOWS.
Generally speaking, there are two kinds of mentality about key conflicts. A complete lack of attention to key conflicts, or even a complete lack of understanding. For example, when he was playing KOF, he found that his opponent could release XX's killer skill through keyboard operation, but he could not complete this action with skillful operation. At this time, it is too late to regret.
The other category is super fanatical fans who are obsessed with games. They have been looking for the best game without key conflicts, just like martial arts experts are frantically looking for martial arts cheats. Because of their preference, they don't have a very clear understanding of the core issues of conflict in key positions, so that they are confused about finding their utopian dreams.
As we all know, the current keyboard technology adopts non-coding film contact structure. This structure is that any key has two layers of film contacts. After disassembling the keyboard, we will find that the number of wires on any film is far less than the number of keys, and each wire connects the contacts of multiple keys at the same time. Moreover, any two lines of the upper and lower layers overlap only on one key at most. That is, the upper conductor 1 can pass through the keys 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 at the same time, while the lower conductor 1 can pass through the keys 1, q, a and z at the same time, and the two conductors overlap only at the key 1
In this way, according to the keys transmitted by the upper sheet and the lower sheet, a table similar to the following can be discharged:
Upper conductor 1
Upper conductor 2
Upper conductor 3
Upper conductor 4
Upper conductor 5
……
Lower conductor 1

No keyboard will have a table with similar principle in its processing chip. In order to reduce the key position conflict, designers have racked their brains to modify the circuit arrangement and data table of the keyboard, so that the commonly used games and shortcut keys do not conflict as much as possible, but this is to minimize, not completely eliminate. Now everyone understands why there is no conflict when we use hot start ctrl-alt-del. Why don't the four direction keys conflict? People are not as good as the sky, and some keyboards will play loopholes in the game, leading to key conflicts. Therefore, a keyboard without key position conflict is impossible in the current keyboard design. It is absurd, if not naive, for a manufacturer to advertise that his keyboard (so far) has no key position conflict.
Summary:
1. It is mentioned in this paragraph that the key position conflict of the keyboard is linked according to the ingenuity of the chip data designed by the designer, that is to say, when the keyboard uses different models and brands of integrated blocks (which can be regarded as the CPU of the keyboard), the key position conflict will not be exactly the same.
2. It is absolutely impossible for a keyboard with non-coding structure to have no key position conflict. The solution can only be that game manufacturers and keyboard manufacturers coordinate with each other to avoid the occurrence of key conflicts as much as possible. So the idea of fanatical game fans mentioned above is utopia.
Select a keyboard with "no key conflict"
Everyone must be wondering why I said before that it is impossible to avoid key conflict in the current keyboard, and now I say that I can find a keyboard without key conflict. Isn't this a contradiction? In fact, my statement is relative, and it also helps everyone to face up to the "conflict of key positions" better, so as to take its essence and discard its dross. Like DIY, the right one is the best. Even so, this part will not be the same as the previous article on keyboard selection (you will know later). What I tell you is how to choose a satisfactory keyboard, which will not affect your daily habits and game hobbies.
We usually like shopping in the computer city, but as we all know, although we can try to see if there is any big problem when buying products in the computer city. But you will never be allowed to play games live for the test, will you? Even if you say you bought a keyboard to play games, the merchants will think you are strange. What if you happen to run into a merchant's computer without the game you need? Is it installed on site?
I will introduce you to a software for testing keyboards. It can not only test whether there is a key conflict on the keyboard, but also test the sensitivity of each key on the keyboard. Keyborad Test, a keyboard testing software produced by PassMark Software Company. The interface of this software is quite simple and intuitive, and its volume is quite small, less than1m. You don't have to worry about moving, even the disk can accommodate you. But the only unpleasant thing is that it is a * * * software.
The download address is:
After opening the software, skip a registration page and the interface of the software will be displayed. When we test the keyboard, press the key to be tested, no matter how many times you press it. If this button reflects, it will turn red, and the used button will be marked green, which is the area A in the figure, while the area B in the figure shows the letters reflected by the button you pressed in text. Another practical function of this software is to test the average number of types that can be typed by keyboard theory (half-angle English), that is, the area of C. Through this software, we can see what is wrong with the keyboard at a glance.
Keyboard with few key conflicts
Actually, I don't want to write this paragraph because I need to offend some domestic manufacturers. If we know that the keyboard can't be without key position conflict. So what keyboard is best for the public? Because I'm not a god, not all keyboard habits are in line with readers' tastes, so I'll briefly talk about the excellent keyboard here.
I found a strange problem in the process of playing keyboard for many years, which I still can't understand, and summed up a theory. Let me ask a question first. Let's have a look. Why haven't the key conflicts been brought up so far? Careful friends probably realize that this is not only caused by the popularity of FPS games in recent years, but also partly because everyone has started to use high-end keyboards (SK, BTC…… ...). It seems that everyone used to feel indifferent to this problem when using inferior keyboards.
After summing up, we can find a very strange rule: the more low-priced and low-quality products, the more enjoyable playing games. On the contrary, those advanced keyboards have more or less obvious key conflicts. Elite is the most famous key conflict, and the conflict is inexplicable, even the direction keys have conflicts. Maybe god is playing a trick on people. Since the conflict between key position and feel is not completely two rights, we will never bow to garbage. Have a good touch and a good keyboard that doesn't affect the overall situation.
Because of the particularity of this super, different and invincible fun game we play, our judgment standard can't be the same as those who think they know the keyboard very well, such as Warcraft and CS. I was taken in and bought a new shell keyboard that BenQ just released last month. When I got home, I found that the keys in the O2 key setting method I could adapt to were all in conflict, so I couldn't play. Because there is no quality problem with the keyboard itself, I have to buy a new keyboard-! This time, I made full preparations, brought a test software and tested the keyboard all afternoon. Regarding keyboard conflicts, I made the following summary:
You can't buy USB interface, multimedia keyboard and a small number of PS/2 interfaces.
In other words, as O2jam players, we'd better consider buying a keyboard with PS/2 interface. When purchasing, you should bring your own test software to make sure there is no key conflict before purchasing. How to use the test software: Open and press the seven keys needed in the game at the same time. If the software shows that all seven keys are red, it means that the seven keys do not conflict with each other. This keyboard is very suitable for playing O2jam. All the keys you pressed in the software are displayed in green for testing.
In addition to this problem, for O2jam players, I personally think that when choosing a keyboard, we should also pay attention to:
1. The keyboard is flexible. Just press it when you buy it.
2. The words on the keyboard should be laser carved, otherwise the words on the keyboard will be blurred after the baptism of O2jam. This mainly depends on the concave-convex feeling of the printed words, and the concave-convex feeling is better.
3. The keystrokes of the keyboard should be short. The shorter the keystroke, the faster the response time of the keystroke, and the keys of X architecture perform better in this respect. Generally speaking, notebook keyboards use X architecture.
Let's talk about the X-architecture: from the key stroke point of view, the average key stroke of the desktop keycap is 3.8-4.0mm, and that of the notebook keycap is 2.50-3.0mm, while the keyboard of the X-architecture maintains the advantages of the desktop keycap, with an average key stroke of 3.5-3.8mm, which makes it feel comfortable. When testing the tapping strength of the upper left corner, the upper right corner, the lower left corner, the lower right corner and the key center, it is found that the tapping strength of the traditional keyboard is large and uneven, while the tapping strength of the "X-box" keyboard is small and quite balanced. In other words, when we hit the "X-frame" keyboard, we should not feel tired, and the force is evenly distributed in all parts of the keycap, which makes us feel more comfortable.
Scissor feet and "X building"
The structure adopted by the notebook keyboard is called "scissor foot" structure. Because the required thickness of notebook keyboard is very thin, it is impossible to use monorail direct sliding structure. So the notebook keyboard adopts the design structure as shown in the figure. Reduce the size of rubber spring, use special bracket to bear the pressure of keys and keep the balance of keys.
The scissors foot structure solves the problem that the monorail straight sliding structure is bulky and easy to jam. However, due to the small key stroke of the scissors foot structure, although it is beneficial to reduce the thickness of the keyboard, it has a great impact on fingers and is not conducive to improving the feel of the keyboard.
In order to solve this problem, when IBM designed the classic TP600 series notebook, it found the most experienced company in BenQ to manufacture the notebook keyboard, and then BenQ designed a new keyboard structure which was later called "X-frame". As can be seen from the schematic diagram, "X-frame" is essentially the deformation of the scissors foot structure. By extending the scissor legs, an X-shaped bracket is formed, which on the one hand increases the stroke of keys, and on the other hand, the feel of IBM notebook keyboard has been praised by users for a long time, which is inseparable from the use of the X-shaped architecture.
"X-frame" is mainly based on the working principle of scissors feet. It uses two groups of parallel four-bar linkages to move in a forced way, so that users can enjoy a smooth and consistent feeling when touching the center or four corners of the keycap. In contrast, the common desktop keyboard, if the fingers fall on the four corners of the keycap and fall in the middle of the keycap, consumes completely different power, which will cause the touch of the keyboard to be very inconsistent. According to the statistical analysis of a large number of test results, the traditional desktop keyboard consumes 5 ~ 12 times more power than the "X architecture".
