Tile selection method:
1, look at the appearance
The color of ceramic tiles must be uniform, the surface smoothness and flatness should be good, and the periphery should be regular, without color difference, deformation and obvious impurities.
2. Listen to the sound
Tap with a hard object, the clearer the sound, indicating that the higher the porcelain degree, the better the quality. If you tap the tile with your fingers, it will make a dull and stagnant sound, indicating inferior quality. This kind of tile must not be bought.
Step 3 weigh yourself
You can also judge the density of tiles by weighing them. Under the same volume, the heavier the tile, the better. Under the same weight, the smaller the tiles, the better.
4, dripping test
When buying ceramic tiles, you can also prove the quality of ceramic tiles by dripping test. You can drop water or tea on the back of the tile to see seepage velocity after the water is dispersed. Generally speaking, the slower the water absorption, the higher the tile density and the better the tile quality. On the contrary, the faster the water absorption, the less dense the tile quality.
