Many engineering geological data related to seismic, drilling, completion, logging, cementing, testing and production information will be formed in the process of gas field exploration and development. These data are not only a true record of gas field exploration and development process, but also a concentrated expression of geological work results, and are valuable wealth belonging to the country. With the rapid development of information technology and the gradual popularization of the network, the traditional paper file management method can no longer meet the needs of users. Accelerating the digital network construction of engineering geological archives and promoting the enjoyment and utilization of archives information have become the focus of archives management in the new period [1].

1 digital construction of gas field engineering geological archives

Gas field engineering geological archives involve many disciplines, covering the whole process of gas field exploration and development. There are many kinds of files. The traditional paper file management method has some shortcomings, such as low manual retrieval efficiency, inconvenient access, easy damage and large space occupation. The construction and management of digital archives will completely change the way of archives utilization, break through the limitations of paper archives utilization, and promote the transformation of archives management from archives preservation and utilization functions to information collection, management and information service functions. The digital construction of gas field engineering geological archives mainly includes the following contents.

1. 1 digital processing of files

Digital processing of engineering geological archives is the basis of digital archives management. The digitization of archives mainly includes the following contents: ① Cleaning and classification of inventory data. According to the collection content, it is divided into books and periodicals, geological science and technology archives, maps, infrastructure archives and academic research reports. (2) Digitize the catalogue of different materials. The purpose of digitalization of geological archives catalogue is to establish machine-readable catalogue and catalogue database, and record, index and input a large amount of archives information manually. In the process of digitalization of archival cataloging, in order to establish a high-quality archival cataloging database, the description and indexing of archival information and the entry of machine-readable cataloging data should be strictly regulated [2]. (3) The full-text files are digitized, that is, the geological files with different types, different carrier forms and recording methods are converted into computer-readable files such as words, maps, charts, images and sounds, and stored on physical carriers such as disks and optical disks. At the same time, in accordance with the regulations on the management of geological data, all kinds of new data are submitted at the same time, and the new data are classified and archived. Digital files (that is, electronic files) are generated from paper geological files after a series of digital processing by computer, which lays a foundation for digital management of engineering geological files such as collection, sorting, filing, preservation management, borrowing, inquiry, development, utilization and replication.

1.2 construction of network database

The construction of network database is a technical means to realize the digital management of archives. Compared with traditional carrier files, the biggest feature of digital files is that they can flow quickly through the network. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a practical file management system by comprehensively considering functionality, operability, standardization, stability, security and functional expansibility. On the basis of studying and drawing lessons from domestic advanced file management software, according to the actual situation of the company's production and life, combined with the requirements of geological data management regulations, China Petrochemical Southwest Oil and Gas Company independently developed a set of "Geological Data Management System of China Petrochemical Southwest Oil and Gas Company" by using ASP.NET website and SQL Server database development technology. The system divides digital files into seven categories: geological research files (including oil and gas field development, scientific and technological research, surveying and mapping, etc. ), CD-ROM backup, books and periodicals, maps, infrastructure files, academic seminar reports and a number of libraries, and includes seven subsystems (Figure 1). According to the author, editing time, subject words or abstracts, other search words and combination conditions, the functions of fuzzy query, full-text query and accurate query are realized, and the selected target file can be used for data borrowing application or online reading.

1.3 Digital Management of Archives

The digital management of gas field engineering geological archives is the embodiment of the achievements of archives digital construction. Different from the traditional way of archives management, the digital management of archives is closely related to computers, electronic archives, databases and networks. In the process of oil and gas exploration and development, various engineering geological data will be produced, such as the original data of earthquake in the work area, the original data of single well drilling, completion and production, and the reports of relevant scientific research results. These materials are submitted to the archives management center by design, construction and scientific research units respectively. After being strictly checked and accepted by the archives management center, the archives managers will classify, number, file and archive the files in time, and digitize the files, upload the formed electronic files to the network database, and provide digital management for information inquiry, borrowing and downloading of archived files [3]. The management process is shown in Figure 2.

Secondary development and utilization of gas field engineering geological archives

With the deepening of the construction of digital archives, users are not only satisfied with the information query service of historical materials, but also want to redevelop the existing digital archives, make full use of digital archives to help practical work, and even complete some work, so as to improve work efficiency and reduce costs. With the acceleration of oil and gas exploration and development in Southwest Oil and Gas Company of China Petrochemical Company, the task of compiling various construction designs is becoming increasingly heavy. In order to standardize the design compilation process, improve the design compilation efficiency and ensure the design quality, Southwest Oil&Gas Company developed the 3D GIS geographic information system of Southwest Oil&Gas Company's work area (Figure 3) on the basis of the existing digital construction of engineering geological files, and it was initially applied in the engineering design compilation process.

Based on the satellite map, the GIS geographic information system of Southwest Oil and Gas Company has added different labels on the same layer, such as gas pipeline, well location deployment, road traffic information and well site environmental information. By choosing different labels, the related layer data can be superimposed and displayed, and the functions of enlarging, shrinking, moving and saving screen shots of related map information can be realized, which provides an intuitive reference for decision-making such as well location deployment and gas pipeline layout. In addition, in the GIS geographic information system, the well history data of existing wells are added, mainly including drilling, completion, logging and testing data. According to these data, when compiling new well drilling geological design, we can draw pre-drilled structural map and horizon correlation map by selecting adjacent wells, automatically form basic information such as pre-drilled geological structural characteristics, and automatically generate text documents, which initially realizes the automatic compilation of drilling geological design.

3 Conclusion

Digital construction of gas field engineering geological archives is the need of social and economic development in the new period. By sorting and digitizing files, making full use of network and database technology, the traditional file information management and network digital management are combined to realize the digital management of gas field engineering geological data. Authorized users can consult or download relevant materials without leaving home. Based on the digital management of archives, a 3D GIS geographic information system is developed for the actual situation in the process of oil and gas exploration and development, which realizes the intuitive display of information such as well location and pipeline distribution in the work area. At the same time, the automatic compilation of drilling geological design is initially realized by using the existing well history data, which effectively reduces the labor intensity, realizes the secondary development and utilization of geological files, and provides a new working idea for the management of gas field engineering geological files.
