How is Capgemini treated in an IT consulting company?

Capgemini Consulting, recruited by our school, has been working in Capgemini for about 9 months now. Seeing many people pay attention to Capgemini, tell us some of your own experiences.

At that time, I participated in the JTP plan of Capgemini Consulting School, including Longteng Plan, Huyao Plan and Diving Plan. I'm Project Tiger Demon. After I was admitted, I went to Kunshan to attend the induction training for new employees.

During the training period, the company pays for meals and accommodation. The canteen in Kunshan is really good and the food is delicious. I have an internship salary, and I can save myself some travel expenses, interview clothes and transportation subsidies before graduation. I feel that the welfare of foreign companies is really good. If you go to participate in the actual combat of the project, the company will also issue subsidies.

In fact, more importantly, studying in Kunshan can increase a lot of knowledge and skills. The content of Capgemini JTP project is very comprehensive and systematic. We have received training in business analysis, agility, PPT office, project flow and so on, and can basically master the primary consulting skills. I am glad that I chose to join the IT consulting industry at the beginning of my career, which opened up a student's understanding of business and society more quickly and completed the transition from school to career more quickly.

There was a team interview during the training, and I joined the leading PMO service team in the industry. My work mainly includes strategic consultation, digital platform operation, customer transformation and project management training. At first, I was an assistant consultant, and my specific work was PPT, customer research, data sorting and so on.

Salary includes basic salary and project performance. At that time, the starting salary of my participation in Huyao Project was less than five figures, but the starting salary of my participation in Longteng Project, that is, the starting salary in BA direction was at least five figures, which was higher for people with technical background. This year's graduates have two promotion opportunities in Capgemini Consulting, so the salary adjustment is faster. As a French company, the benefits are also very good. Capgemini can basically think of all the advantages of foreign companies, so I won't go into them one by one.

The working atmosphere of Capgemini Consulting is very relaxed, and there is no overtime culture. As long as your own affairs are finished, you can go then. Usually most of the time is running projects, and the time spent in the office is relatively short. Everyone is busy. The company advocates the concept of "delivery is king", so at Capgemini, as long as you keep learning, do your own thing well and get recognition from customers, you won't worry about a raise and promotion.

Generally speaking, I am grateful to have entered the consulting work of Capgemini, and I hope other small partners will develop well.
