Originally, I studied logistics management in college. When I graduated, I entered an IT consulting company in China, which is a consulting industry. At that time, it was mainly because after internship in logistics enterprises, I found that this industry was not as beautiful as I imagined. Simply put, this industry has prospects but no "money" scene, and the overall quality of the industry is low. Then I happened to be interested in the consulting industry, and felt that entering this industry had many benefits, so I signed a contract. At that time, some specific ideas and experiences can be referenced here: Why do many people want to enter the management consulting industry? So far, what is your first impression of the people in the above industries you have contacted?
I do IT consulting, but what I do more is to choose to change careers soon after the implementation of the system, which is not good for a person's career development. At least your resume will easily remind HR whether you are a reliable person or not. However, since you have chosen to change careers, normally speaking, you should at least follow some principles: the new industry has a certain correlation with the old industry (such as construction industry and real estate industry), so that your experience in the past few years will not be completely wasted, otherwise the sinking cost will be too high; It is better to change careers early than late, otherwise you can only work hard from the bottom in new industries, especially when you are 30 years old, so you should choose carefully. Of course, the above situation applies to ordinary people. Young people with background, family background and IQ can jump out of the void and look at all beings.
The final choice is the automobile industry. In fact, at that time, I was more willing to go to the financial industry, banks and securities. Unfortunately, the school's broken policy made my major name, which caused a serious misunderstanding in finding a job. Although the professional name is logistics management, logistics management, economics, management, marketing and finance are all the same courses in our college, except for several specialized courses in supply chain management, operations research and operation management in junior year, which are strictly general courses. The college is talking about general education, but the society still only recognizes professional names, which makes people feel sorry and reminds me of the financial industry.
In Sino-Japanese joint ventures, influenced by Japanese management grid, the style of doing things tends to be planned, meticulous and rigorous, which is similar to the style of doing consulting projects, so it has strong adaptability; But at the same time, I deeply realize that this management method is mixed with the dross of the inefficient management method of typical state-owned enterprises. Imagine how efficient it can be to revise the details and reports at multiple levels and change them to more than a dozen rounds. What I always say is, grasp the essence and learn first, otherwise there is no place to jump ~
As for the success after changing careers, it depends on what.
