Hengdian Studios is open all year round, and the business hours during the Spring Festival are the same as usual. Most scenic spots open at 8 am and close at night 17.

The Ming and Qing Palace Scenic Spot in Hengdian is a super-large scenic spot integrating film and television shooting, sightseeing and festival ceremonies. It was built in 1998 and covers an area of 1500 mu. It is the largest film and television base in Hengdian Film and Television City.

Hengdian Palace in Ming and Qing Dynasties is copied with the Forbidden City as the template 1: 1. Referring to the architectural techniques of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it imitates the ritual system of Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties with the unique construction method of the film and television city, integrates the architectural style of the Republic of China, and brings together four major architectural series, including the Beijing Palace, the Royal Garden, the Wang Fu Yamen and the Hutong Residence, which truly reproduces many histories.
