Brief Introduction of binzhou university Library

Binzhou university Library was founded on 1958. The existing library building was built in 2003 and opened in September 2004. The building covers an area of 2 1000 square meters and is ten stories high. The library consists of comprehensive department, editorial department, circulation department, information consulting department, technical service department and periodical department. There are 60 staff members, more than 80% of whom are college graduates. 1 is a full-time senior title, and 16 is an associate senior title. Binzhou university Library has more than 1.6 million readers and receives thousands of readers every day. Take the service mode of storing, borrowing and reading. Reader-oriented, service and education as our responsibility, all-round service for readers, and strive to create a harmonious and elegant reading environment. The reading room of the library is open for nearly 80 hours every week, the book lending office is open all day from Monday to Sunday, and the study room is open for nearly 100 hours every week, and it is open as usual in winter and summer vacations. The library provides services such as borrowing, reading, document retrieval, network inquiry, telephone consultation and document copying, and will also carry out exhibitions, academic exchanges and other activities in the future. Binzhou university Library has advanced management methods, including interview, editing, cataloging, circulation, reading and reference, and has realized the whole process of computer management. In 2002, it was awarded the honor of "Building an Advanced Library by Automation" by Shandong Provincial Department of Education. Since the opening of the new library, in accordance with the overall development goals and personnel training requirements of the school, we have always adhered to the concept of "deepening reform, pioneering and innovating" and the purpose of "taking readers as the center, serving and educating people as our responsibility, and taking discipline construction as the driving force" to seek the strategic cornerstone for the survival and development of university libraries in the new period and improve their vitality and competitiveness.
