CNC tool rest is the link between machine tool and tool. Usually, there is a high-precision inner taper hole on the spindle of a machine tool, and its taper is the same as that of the tool handle. The tool holder and the tool holder can be automatically pulled into the spindle of the machine tool through the pulling nail installed at the top. The lower part of the tool rest is the tool rest part, and the machining center has a powerful tool rest for clamping the tool. Type of taper shank: It depends on the connection between the shank and the machine tool. The selection of connection mode between tool rest and machine tool spindle mainly considers tool changing mode, milling cutter holder of vertical milling machine, clamping force source and rotating speed.
There are two most commonly used types, namely sksk type or bt type with 7:24 steep taper handle or 7:24 universal type. This kind of hilt has a large taper of 7:24, which is the most commonly used hilt. Can withstand high speed and high torque, and is mostly used for automatic tool changer. The taper shank is directly installed in the taper hole of the machine tool spindle. The top of the shank is pulled up by the connecting bolt, and the shank is pulled into the machine tool spindle, and at the same time it is clamped mainly by the friction between the shank and the machine tool spindle wall.
7:24 Tapered Universal Tool Holders There are usually five standards and specifications for 7:24 Tapered Universal Tool Holders, namely NT (traditional type), DIN6987 1 (German standard), IS07388/ 1 (international standard), MASBT (Japanese standard) and ANSI/ASME (American standard). The German standard of NT tool rest is DIN2080, which is used to fasten the tool rest on the traditional machine tool through the pull rod, also known as ST in China; The other four kinds of tool handles are all pulled at the end of the tool handle and tightened on the machining center. At present, DIN6987 1 (JT) and MASBT are the most widely used tool handles in China. DIN6987 1 tool holder can be installed on DIN6987 1 and ANSI/ASME spindle taper hole machine tools, while IS07388/ 1 tool holder can be installed on DIN6987 1, IS07388/ 1 and ANSI/ASME spindle taper hole machine tools.
(1)DIN2080 (NT or ST for short) DIN 2080 is a German standard, that is, the international standard ISO2583, which is commonly called NT tool rest. The tool can not be loaded by the manipulator of the machine tool, but manually.
(2)DIN6987 1 type (JT, DIN, DAT or DV for short) DIN 69871type is divided into two types, namely DIN6987 1A/AD type and DIN6987 1B type, the former is cooled in the center, and the latter is cooled in the flange.
(3) The installation dimension of ISO7388/ 1 (IV or IT for short) is no different from that of DIN6987 1, but the D4 value of ISO 7388/1is less than that of DIN6987 1. Therefore, it is no problem to install ISO7388/ 1 tool holder on the machine tool with DIN6987 1 taper hole, but interference may occur when installing DIN6987 1 tool holder on the ISO7388/ 1 machine tool.
(4)MASBT (BT for short) BT is a Japanese standard, and its installation dimensions are completely different from DIN6987 1, IS073881and ANSI, so it cannot be replaced. The symmetrical structure of BT tool holder makes it superior to the other three tool holders in high-speed stability.
(5)ANSIB5.50 (CAT for short) Ansib 5.50 is an American standard, and its installation dimensions are similar to DIN6987 1 and IS07388/ 1. However, due to the lack of wedge clearance, ANSIB5.50 tool holder cannot be installed in DIN6987 1 and IS07388/65438.
