Label high quality alloy structural steel
It shows that 38CrMoAlA is a kind of high-grade nitrided steel, which has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties after tempering and nitriding. The nitrided layer has good wear resistance, fatigue strength, scratch resistance and bite resistance, and has certain corrosion resistance. Steel has high thermal stability, high hardness and no tempering brittleness when the working temperature reaches 500℃, and its machinability is acceptable, but its hardenability, cold deformation plasticity and weldability are low. This steel is mainly used for gas nitriding, ion nitriding and liquid nitrocarburizing, and is generally used after tempering and nitriding.
It is mainly used for nitriding parts with high wear resistance, high fatigue strength and considerable strength, and with accurate dimensions after heat treatment, or various nitriding parts with high wear resistance with small impact load, such as boring bars, grinding machine spindles, automatic lathe spindles, worms, precision screws, precision gears, high-pressure valves, valve stems, gauges, templates, rollers, imitation molds, cylinders, compressor piston rods, governors, rotating sleeves and fixed parts on steam turbines.
