We will also severely punish illegal and undocumented fishermen, conscientiously implement the summer fishing moratorium system, and effectively protect marine fishery resources. Last winter and this spring, the province eliminated and scrapped 402 small boats and "couple boats" that can't sail far into the deep sea, but can only salvage small fish in offshore and shallow waters, and allocated more than19.8 million yuan as a subsidy for fishermen's scrapped boats to help them build large ships and operate them on a large scale. At present, more than 2 100 large ships have been built in the province, which can sail in the deep sea and have a high safety factor against wind and waves.
