The continuous development of economy and society has brought opportunities to the development of private high schools. Private high schools are an important force in running high schools in China. The social demand for education is increasing day by day, so is the private high school. However, the continuous development of private high schools and the imperfection of the school-running system make the management problems of private high schools increasingly apparent, which leads to vicious competition for students in some areas and schools, which seriously deviates from the normal track of running schools, violates the educational laws and damages the rights and interests of students. The main reasons for students' vicious competition are: the school's extreme pursuit of interests, the vague boundary of "reasonable return" of school-running policy, the imperfect evaluation system and the lack of supervision system. To solve the enrollment chaos, government departments and education administrative departments need to formulate relevant systems and documents as soon as possible, standardize school-running behavior, improve the school-running environment, and establish and improve the supervision and evaluation mechanism for private schools.
1 Performance of vicious competition
(1) set up enrollment consultation points in various places. In order to expand publicity, the school sent teachers to set up stalls in the city during the summer vacation and presented "school profile" to passers-by. "How good the teachers are, how big the school area is, and what kind of closed management should be adopted ...". All kinds of propaganda words are nothing more than "empty talk", "rhetoric" or "lies" that exaggerate the facts. "How many points did someone get in the exam last year and what university did they go to?" So-and-so won the first prize in' liberal arts' or' science'. Sometimes even a city has multiple "firsts".
(2) Various advertisements. The school employs propaganda vehicles to shuttle through the streets and alleys of the city every day, or to broadcast back and forth to towns and villages. Talking about the "glory" of the entrance examination results in those years confuses people's hearing and hearing. According to the author's investigation, the school used holidays to send students back to their hometown to distribute "school enrollment" leaflets. (3) Various forms of wooing activities. 2 Analysis of the causes of vicious competition
(1) Competition for interests. All kinds of competition for students ultimately boils down to the competition for interests. Whoever has better "software", more complete hardware and more efficient management will win more students. The competition for interests has spawned various means. How much profit can a student earn? According to the author's investigation, the tuition fee for each student is between 2200 yuan and 2500 yuan. After deducting the accommodation fee 150 yuan, the water and electricity fee 150 yuan, the information fee 120 yuan, and the meal fee 500 yuan, the balance is more than RMB 1000, which can be used directly by the school. If a school can recruit 2000 students a semester, the income will be considerable. Therefore, no matter what means the school uses, it will not hesitate to "buy" students. (2) Policy factors. The Promotion Law relaxes the preferential conditions for private schools and is vague about obtaining a "reasonable return". The number of private schools is increasing day by day, and the competition for students is becoming increasingly fierce.
(3) The evaluation system is not perfect. Public opinion does not trust the quality of private schools; The score theory of college entrance examination system is a hero, which is one of the reasons why individual private schools compete for high-quality students, so as to determine the attendance rate of students in different universities and determine the advantages and disadvantages of schools. In order to improve the reputation of the school and promote the "trump card" of enrollment in the next academic year, private schools will not hesitate to "buy and sell" high-quality students to enhance the influence of the school.
(4) Lack of supervision system. The inaction of government departments and education administrative departments and the lack of supervision system for private schools eventually lead to the chaotic situation of enrollment in private schools.
The government does not have a special administrative department to regulate and supervise the education of private schools, which leads to excessive marketization of private schools and inevitably leads to competition for "high-quality" students. 3. Countermeasures to standardize vicious competition
(1) Formulate relevant laws and regulations to standardize enrollment behavior. According to the nature of running private schools in China at present, it is unrealistic to eliminate profit. The behavior of "buying and selling" students in disguise can be completely controlled by enrolling students in disorder. The administrative department of education should formulate documents as soon as possible to limit the collusion of interests between public schools and private schools.
(2) Change the training mode of judging schools by students' achievements. From 1952- 1984, that is, before the reform and opening up, the single value orientation of "for social development" or "for national development", the core and focus of attention, is far from the development needs of people and does not meet the ultimate goal of education. The ideal education should be difference education rather than elimination education, providing everyone with skills suitable for their development, exploring their potential and safeguarding their dignity. (3) Improve the literacy of the organizers and change the concept of running a school. The state encourages "social forces" to run schools. This seriously violates the laws of education and teaching and seriously affects the improvement of school quality. Therefore, the management of most private schools has fallen into the helplessness of "those who have money do not manage, and those who manage have no money". Therefore, it is particularly important to change or improve their understanding and improve their ideological quality. The administrative department of education should often organize the training of some principals to improve their ideological consciousness in running schools.
(4) Improve teachers' quality, change teachers' concept of educational development, and improve the influence of running schools. Simply thinking that the quality of education refers to "teaching ability" and "professional skills" just ignores the most important spiritual concern. Teachers who have experienced higher education have a higher pursuit of their own value orientation.
