On how to improve primary school students' interest in learning information technology

With the continuous progress of society and the continuous development of science. Modern information technology is becoming more and more important in rural education and teaching. For primary school students, they are just beginning to learn information technology knowledge and are new to computers. They have a mysterious and curious feeling about computers and a high enthusiasm for learning. However, in the process of learning, if we do not pay attention to cultivating their interest in learning computers, their enthusiasm for learning will soon decline. So, how to cultivate their interest in learning? Let me talk about my practice in several aspects.

First, use the first impression to stimulate students' indirect interest in learning.

In the first student computer class, I brought the students into the computer room. After properly explaining the rules of using the computer room and the common sense of using and maintaining computers, I asked the students to look at and touch the computers they could touch, carefully observe the appearance of each component, and then asked, "Do you know this machine in front of you?" "Do you know what parts it consists of?" "What are the names of these parts? What is the role? " And so on, guide students to think and let them know the main hardware components of the computer, such as host, keyboard, mouse, monitor, driver and so on. In this way, from the beginning, students' vision, hearing and touch are stimulated through perceptual contact, so as to quickly "enter the situation", eliminate the estrangement and fear of computers, maintain the initial excitement and easily start computer learning. Then, taking "computer is the extension of human brain" as the breakthrough point, students' imagination is mobilized through image metaphor, and they are gradually guided to understand the functions of various hardware and their relationships, and understand the basic principle of computer simulation of human brain. Through the first impression, every student enters the role of learning with the best attitude, which induces their demand for knowledge and greatly stimulates their enthusiasm and consciousness in learning.

Second, lead in carefully to stimulate interest in learning.

1, story situation introduction

In the teaching of painting skills-flip and rotation, I first played a piece of music from Monkey Brother, so that students can guess who the protagonist is in today's class. The students said "the Monkey King" in unison, and asked the students what the Monkey King's greatest skill was. A: Seventy-two changes. So today, let's see how the Monkey King got better in the computer. The students are all shouting "good" happily and looking forward to the next content. Pupils are full of interest in stories. At the beginning of the class, use such a short story to stimulate their interest in the learning content, and insert the corresponding content in the classroom teaching process, so that students will no longer feel bored and uninterested in learning.

2. Introduction of demonstration project

When teaching custom animation with power point software, I first showed my classmates an animation effect about my campus with power point. After reading it, the students whispered, "How does it move?" "How can we make such an effect?" ..... Their eyes reveal a thirst for knowledge. I seized the opportunity to tell the students: "These works are made by slide show. The classified query of periodical articles is in the periodical database "and encourages students:" As long as you use your brains and your free imagination, you can design better. " And let them compare with our previous works. Are they the same and what are the differences? Does this work? In this way, they know the content of this lesson in their thinking and can't wait to do it. This kind of introduction creates a relaxed learning scene, really arouses students' passion, and lays a solid emotional foundation for the next independent inquiry.

3, problem introduction

Third, intuitive teaching to deepen memory.

In teaching, we can make full use of the inherent characteristics of computers and adopt vivid and intuitive teaching methods to help students deepen their understanding and memory of computer knowledge. For example, when teaching "knowing the keyboard", I first asked "What are the characteristics of space bar, shift key and backspace key?" Let the students discuss. Make students understand that there are no characters on the space bar through discussion. Its main function is to input spaces. Similarly, there is an upward arrow on the shift key, which is mainly used to input the upper gear letter. I also grabbed a backspace key with a left arrow to screen out the letters in front of the cursor, which is equivalent to the typo we usually write with an eraser. Only in this way can we turn abstraction into intuition, leave a deep impression on students and deepen their memories.

Fourth, pay attention to operation, strengthen practice and hold more operation competitions.

Because it is teaching in the countryside, children usually have fewer opportunities to practice, so they can only practice in the school information technology class. Computer is a practical and operational subject. In computer teaching, operation is the main content. We can't teach like Chinese and math. Children can practice anytime and anywhere. They only have 40 minutes in class. Students are often asked to practice in teaching, but the simple operation is too boring, and students lose interest in learning after a long time. In order to keep students' interest in learning, we can use some competition methods to motivate students and organize them to have an operation competition after learning a knowledge point, such as "painting competition" and "Chinese character input competition". And according to different levels of students put forward different goals and requirements, do not engage in one-size-fits-all teaching, so that they can all have a chance to succeed. Through this method, I found that it can not only satisfy the competitiveness of students, but also enhance their self-confidence, so that every student can feel "I am the best" and "I learn better". Moreover, the teacher keeps records for each student, so that they can know their learning level at any time. In order to get good grades in the competition, students will carefully study every content, tell their own works and methods, and discuss which method is the best together. Through the method of competition, students' enthusiasm for learning is maintained, their desire for learning is further promoted, and their communicative competence is further improved.

In a word, if we want to teach the information technology course in primary schools well, we must use the language and teaching methods that students can easily accept to make some boring knowledge interesting and vivid. Students' interest in learning has become stronger, the form of classroom teaching has become more and more novel, the atmosphere between teachers and students is harmonious and relaxed, and the teaching effect is bound to be significantly improved. At the same time, let students apply the knowledge and skills they have learned to practice, and let students feel that information technology courses must be learned and learned well. With the rapid development of science and technology, information technology will play an increasingly important role in society, and the classroom teaching of information technology in rural primary schools will be paid more and more attention. I think, through our joint efforts and discussions, the classroom teaching of rural information technology will gradually become mature and perfect.
