Introduction of Lijiatuo Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing?

Lijiatuo Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing is located between Jiulongpo District and Banan District in Chongqing, with Lijiatuo Industrial Zone (Banan District) on the south bank and Jiulongpo District on the north bank. The total length of the main span is 1288m, and the span combination is: transition span (53m)+ main span (169m+444m+ 169m)+ transition span (53m)+ south approach bridge (8x50m), and the bridge deck width is 4 lanes (with a middle belt). It is the largest cable-stayed bridge in China at present, and the cables are arranged on both sides of the superstructure to form two symmetrical cable planes (also called double cable planes).

The structural system of the bridge is a prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge with twin towers and double cable planes, and the tower piers are consolidated. The main girder is a longitudinal suspension system, and a transverse limit device is set at the intersection of the tower girder, and a large displacement expansion joint is set at the joint between the transition hole of the north platform and the south approach bridge.

The main girder of Lijiatuo Yangtze River Bridge adopts flat solid double main girder section, and the main girder rib is 2.5m high and 1.7m wide. The beam spacing is 4.5m, and transverse prestressed steel beams are set. The main girder is provided with longitudinal prestressed steel tendons in the middle and side spans, and OVM anchorage and high-strength and low-relaxation steel strand are adopted. The main tower is vase-shaped, with a total height of 14 1.5m and a rectangular hollow section. The stay cables are arranged with fan-shaped double cable planes, the cable spacing on the beam is 9m, and the tower is unevenly arranged, with the cable spacing of1.5 ~1.6m. There are 24 pairs of cables on each cable plane. The anchorage adopts LM7 cold-cast anchorage.

The two main pier foundations of the main bridge are treated differently according to the topographic and geological conditions and the difficulty of construction. 2 # pier adopts 2.6 ~ 3.2m variable cross-section excavated pile foundation, and 3 # pier adopts open caisson foundation.

The foundation construction of this bridge started at 199 1 year 1 1 month. It is expected to be completed by the end of 1995. Completed on 1997.
