Changsha Aviation Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1973 and upgraded to a higher vocational college in 1998. Under the Air Force Equipment Department, it is the only general college in the whole army with the nature of national education. It is a high-level vocational college and professional group construction unit with China characteristics, a national high-quality vocational college, an excellent vocational college in Hunan Province, and a designated college for training non-commissioned officers in the army. Mainly responsible for training non-commissioned officers for the army and repairing aviation equipment for the army and the local aviation industry. The college has two campuses, namely Treasury and Guitang, covering an area of 1 000 mu, with a building area of 300,000 square meters, fixed assets of 700 million yuan, total teaching instruments and equipment value of 65.438+88 billion yuan, and library collection of more than 730,000 books.
