Beijing 1+3 Policy

Legal analysis: the so-called "1+3" project, officially named "1+3" training experiment, means that students enter the "1+3" project school after the end of the second year of junior high school and continue to study at school 1 junior high school for three years. Relevant students can go directly to high school without taking the senior high school entrance examination.

(1) Student registration. Students choose a district-level ordinary school to register with junior high school. The summary list of junior high schools is submitted to the experimental school by the District Education Committee.

(2) Interview in experimental school. The experimental school organizes interviews and does not allow written tests. The interview results are publicized in junior high school.

(3) The interview should emphasize the orientation, flexibility and elasticity of quality education, so as to prevent students from participating in various training courses to increase their learning burden. It is strictly forbidden for experimental schools to conduct written examinations of cultural courses.

(d) Students who enter this experiment go directly to senior high school without taking the senior high school entrance examination.

(5) Students who enter this experiment are allowed to quit the experiment in the third grade. Students who drop out can take the senior high school entrance examination in that year, but they will no longer participate in quota allocation and municipal overall enrollment.
