A man's roof in Baoding was built with dozens of nests by swallows. Why do swallows choose to nest under the eaves?

Today, let's talk about why swallows like to nest under the eaves.

Swallow is a general term for passerine birds. Swallows were also called Guanyin swallows in ancient times. Swallows are widely distributed all over the world. The most common swallows in China are the Golden Waist Swallow and the Domestic Swallow. Jinyaoyan and family banquet are very similar in reality and form. They both like to nest under the eaves of human houses and eat agricultural and forestry pests.

Although Jin Yaoyan and Yan Jia look alike, they can still be distinguished. For example, Jin Yaoyan's abdomen has a very obvious black pattern, and her waist is chestnut-colored, while the abdomen of the family banquet is milky white, and the front waist and throat are chestnut red.

Swallow is a typical migratory bird, and its leaves will migrate with the change of seasons. Every spring comes, swallows will fly from the south to the north to breed, and in autumn, swallows will fly to the south with their young birds in droves, every year, just to complete the reproduction of life. Swallows wear colorful clothes and come here every spring? !

In winter, most of our leaves fly to South Asia, Southeast Asia and even Australia, while European swallows fly over the Mediterranean Sea and Sahara Desert every year to Africa thousands of miles away.

Swallows are streamlined in shape and have a fork on their tail. Just like scissors, the length of swallows' wings can reach 28 cm. It can shuttle at low altitude and fly to an altitude of 3 kilometers, and the flight speed can reach 1.20 kilometers per hour. Swallows have excellent flying skills, which can make them migrate long distances.

After winter, the swallows also migrated back. When these swallows recovered, they began to nest and breed. If these electronic products have their own old fashion, they will psychologically renovate their nests, and those newly born swallows will have no old nests. After finding compatibility, they began to choose the right place to nest.

The interesting thing is that it's just practice. Monogamy? Swallow's nest is built by husband and wife. Once the nest is built, it will live in it for many years. If there are no special circumstances, it will not be changed casually, so swallows are very particular when building nests.

Swallows are different from magpies. Magpies like to nest in big trees, while swallows prefer to nest under people's eaves, beams or internal and external walls.

Most leaves are mainly made of soil when building nests, and then some materials such as grass roots, feathers and grass stems are mixed in the soil.
