Xiaoli is tall, thin and slim. Because she sounds like a friend of mine, she is deeply impressed.
We met at a volunteer party downstairs. It was cold that day. She was dressed very thin, and we were all shivering with cold. Then the two of us talked a few words and went to discuss the task.
As a volunteer, Xiaoli is particularly responsible, earnest and enthusiastic. At first, I didn't know much about the intersection because I wasn't in a group. She just met and said hello.
Later, I saw that Xiaoli was a good girl, so I took the initiative to chat. When I got familiar with it, I found that he did too many things.
She is in charge of the household affairs of three buildings. She often helps them take things from one building to another, and often hears "Xiaoli, Xiaoli helps me send things; Xiaoli, Xiaoli, get me a courier; Xiaoli, Xiaoli, help me with the dishes. " I also learned that she takes care of several elderly people who live alone, helps them take medicine, arranges vegetables, buys fruits, and often buys basic materials for the elderly.
Whenever volunteers are needed, she always rushes to the front. Sometimes she eats in a hurry, goes out while eating, and even has a stomachache several times. Every time I joke, why do you spell it like this? She said that she was soft-hearted and couldn't stand other people's difficulties, so she needed help and did it. Xiaoli is really a bodhisattva, which is beyond anyone's reach, including myself.
On the evening of 4/ 13, she received government materials from the community, saying that she would arrive at the gate of the community around 9: 00, and the hard-working volunteers would have time to wait for materials. It was raining hard and cold, so she joined the battle as usual. Seeing her group, she said that the corridor was flooded and her shoes were wet at once. She needed to go home and change her rain boots, and then asked her neighbors to lend some pairs to other volunteers. There are more than 600 households in the community. In order to gather people, the distribution point of materials is divided into three points. Xiaoli and volunteers first loaded the materials on tricycles and then distributed them door to door. At the risk of heavy rain and epidemic, she and the volunteers still walked all the way. It was midnight, Xiaoli went home at zero, and the water in the corridor had reached her knees.
She is the backbone of this building. When she first got home, she saw someone in the group complaining about dizziness and nausea, and she was too tired. She immediately asked in each group if there were any related drugs and any good methods to use. The residents in the group are very enthusiastic, some provide drugs, and some diagnose symptoms. Finally she called 120. She communicated with patients on WeChat, encouraging them to respond positively and go to bed early.
I see Xiaoli's spirit of helping others and asking for nothing in return, but I also feel sorry for her. Her husband and children are not around, and she doesn't take good care of herself. She thinks about taking care of others every day.
Through this epidemic, I saw a group of caring volunteers. They don't ask for anything in return, but for protecting the residents of the community, ensuring their lives, seeing a doctor and taking medicine. Of course, they also saw some negative news. Anyway, thank you for having so many lovely volunteers guarding this family. Thank you, thank you Xiaoli, and thank you volunteers.
