Weinan Teachers College started at 1923, and its predecessor was Chishui Vocational School founded by the underground party organization of China * * * Production Party. Chishui Agricultural Vocational School and Weinan Teachers College in the early 1960s, Weinan Teachers College and Weinan Education College since the reform and opening up, were newly established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2000, and have gone through more than 90 years of vicissitudes.
Weinan Teachers College has 10 secondary colleges, international exchange colleges and continuing education colleges, with 6/kloc-0 undergraduate majors, covering 10 disciplines such as education, literature, science and art. The school has three campuses, namely Chaoyang, Xiyue and Hanma, with a construction area of 710.5 million square meters.
