According to the unified arrangement of the National Development and Reform Commission, on the premise of short fares, the fuel tax subsidy for city buses and taxis will be increased by 1.00 yuan per liter of gasoline and 0.80 yuan per liter of diesel. Subsidies shall be implemented in accordance with the vehicle fuel standards stipulated by national standards.
The Measures for the Administration of Special Funds for the Price Subsidy of Refined Oil for Urban and Rural Road Passenger Transport stipulates that the central government will grant temporary oil price subsidies to taxi operators. Article 4 makes it clear that the taxi operators mentioned in this Law refer to enterprises or individuals that have obtained taxi business qualifications according to law, operate legally and provide taxi services for the majority of urban residents. At the same time, Article 7 stipulates that the subsidy funds shall be used for special purposes, and all of them shall be used to subsidize the actual use of oil, and shall not be used for other purposes.
