Basic introduction of sugong temple

Sugong Temple belongs to the famous tourist attraction of Haikou archaeological site.

Located in the east of Wugong Temple, it was built in memory of Su Wu, a great writer in the Northern Song Dynasty. There are the ruins of Shuangquan and Dong Zhuoting left by Su Shi. This is a garden-like courtyard with ancestral halls, green trees, flowers, winding streams and tinkling springs. On the left side of Sugong Temple is Qiongyuan, covering an area of nearly 10 mu. There are floating Dongpo relics such as Su Quan, Su Quan Pavilion and Xixinxuan in the park. A stone tablet is embedded in the powder wall next to the floating corn, and the three characters of floating corn spring are engraved on the stone tablet. The cool spring water in front of the monument fills the upper and lower wells. According to legend, this was discovered here by Su Dongpo. The spring water is pure, clear, bright and sweet. The spring water has not seen scale for more than ten years, and it is very mellow when making tea. It is known as the first spring in Hainan. Now the spring water in the well is still crystal clear, but there is no spring water gushing.

On the floating Su Quan, there are Su Quan Pavilion and Xixinxuan, which are said to be built by Weng Ruyu in Ming Dynasty and Ye Rulan in Qing Dynasty respectively because of a poem by Su Dongpo.
