Ordos Institute of Applied Technology is a full-time undergraduate college established on the basis of educational resources such as Ordos College of Inner Mongolia University, Mining College of Inner Mongolia University of Technology and Ordos College of Inner Mongolia Medical University. It was formally established on April 28th, 2005 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is the first undergraduate college named "Applied Technology" approved by the Ministry of Education during the transformation and development of local universities in China.
At present, the college has 1 1 teaching department and 2 teaching auxiliary units. On 20 19, the Large Aircraft Academy was established, and three major directions were set up on the basis of the existing undergraduate majors.
