Work outline

There is a lake in my school, whose name is "Qinhu". Students prefer to call her "Qingyi Lake".

Tsing Yi Lake is a shallow water area with no outstanding reputation. However, for those who left their college life here, Tsing Yi Lake is a symbol of their youth, a colorful pearl embedded in the chain of years, reflecting the past time. Even in the distant future, in a place far away from the mountains and rivers of Tsing Yi Lake, the lake is moist, soft and radiant, and the memory of my alma mater is enough for every wanderer to have a long and warm journey.

Sanshui Campus is located in Foshan Forest Park, and Qingyi Lake is located in the southeast of the campus, rippling between the teachers' apartment and the experimental building. Like a reclusive genius, quiet, peaceful and pleasant. On the right side of the lake is a narrow cement road leading to the east gate of the school. The lake was drained for half a year, so many reeds grew on the exposed lake bottom. After re-breeding, the reed by the lake has not disappeared, lush and slightly yellow, and the breeze has blown, which has a sparse beauty. Some waterfowl stopped on the lake while walking. There were only one or two at first, then three or five, and now there are about twenty or thirty. They swim on the water and sometimes fly over the lake like arrows.

Tsing Yi Lake quietly welcomes the brightness and darkness of the years. On the school road on her left, young people are not always in a hurry. They are occasionally excited by the budding of youth, and occasionally depressed by lovelorn. The lake seems to be a picture book of youth, recording their ups and downs, the wind-like years and the joy of flowers in colorful ways.

This photo album also records my joy.

Three years ago, I came from the snowy north to the south of the Tropic of Cancer, and Qingyi Lake gave me peace and comfort. I especially like the name Tsing Yi Lake. Her tone is euphemistic and touching, and it seems that there is endless love hidden inside. In late autumn and early winter, the green trees and fresh air around Qingyi Lake and the tranquility, clearness and purity of Lingnan seem to imply that the beauty of life is only walking and reading. This is where I work, and I have the voice of reading with the students. I like taking classes in the laboratory building near Tsing Yi Lake best. Occasionally, birds come to my classroom, jumping on the empty table at the back of the classroom, no one is watching, sometimes tilting their heads, as if listening carefully, which makes me feel endless joy.

The students in Sanshui are all freshmen and sophomores. They are young, innocent and have clear eyes. In the most beautiful, transparent and poetic time of their lives, I can spend it with them on Qingyi Lake in Sanshui. It's my pleasure and happiness. I often think that if students in Grade One and Grade Two can study alone for a year or two, it may be much better than getting involved in noise and impetuousness too early. Whatever you do, you'd better do it at the right time. Read when you should study, and practice when you should practice. Just like rural life in the farming era, people at that time would live according to the natural rhythm. In spring, they sow, in summer, they cultivate, and in autumn, they harvest. What about winter? I think winter is a time for dancing and singing. They miss, they tell stories, they arrange grand festivals, they get married, they visit relatives and friends, and they laugh wildly. To people today, they may be lazy, but they are undoubtedly happy. They know the true meaning of life and naturally know that life is not only for work, but also for enjoyment. Between work and enjoyment, they find the right rhythm according to the natural order and know that nature is regular, so they have enough patience to wait, not impatient, not anxious and not in a hurry.

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to be a farmer by the Tsing Yi Lake in Sanshui, where I led the students to study, as if some people in the farming era were slowly enjoying our festivals in winter. In the late autumn of 2009, under the bright light of Sanshui Library, we read the Analects of Confucius, listened to the elegance and warmth of the saints thousands of years ago, listened to the ripples outside Qingyi Lake, and accompanied by the group of people sitting together, we read, discussed and smiled gently. I think it's not just us who smile, because we are not only today's existence, but we were doomed at the moment when the classics were written. Our life is continuous, and so is our culture. The ancestors who gave us life and blood, like a big tree, were destroyed by wind and rain, but its branches and leaves did not die, just like the same river, which can flow mercilessly. We are glad that we are a leaf on this tree, and we know that we are a drop of water in this river.

In my opinion, a teacher must have the mood and skills of a farmer in order to teach a good book; That kind of industrialized production can only transfer knowledge and cultivate formatted standard products. As a result of such education, people become memory machines, which is not a perfect education. Perfect education should regard education as the inheritance and dialogue of life, like the relationship between farmers and crops, with love, cherish, sweat and meticulous attention. Every student is a vivid life with his own color. The moment they walk into the campus, when they give you their ideals, visions and wishes, their eyes are clear, their expectations are eager, and their lives are eager to grow. For us, to be a good farmer, youth is full of aura and divinity. In the face of such a beautiful life, we need to respect our position: a teacher is a life that can deliver the soul.

Tsing Yi Lake lies comfortably there. I take my students to the library to study, read aesthetics, literature and the classics of my ancestors. The students gradually calmed down. Like crop seedlings, they begin to understand that life is rhythmic, branches and leaves grow bit by bit, and life and seasons correspond. Now is the time to observe, read and think. They gradually understood this moment, and their eyes began to shine: they were observing another life, which was a life of body and mind. This kind of life is too comfortable. With the sound of books and yellowed papers under the lights, the earth seems to have entered the night, and the starry sky in Qingyi Lake reflects the brilliance and brilliance of life in the silent depths.
